Which country successfully did this ?
I don't know if it has even been tried anywhere, we went from a few weeks to flatten the curve to full on panic mode as if we had another Spanish Flu type catastrophic event on our hands.

Children and adults in reasonable health are at miniscule risk from Covid, in fact they are probably more at risk from the seasonal Flu.

Maybe trust issues with those running the show right now?
Quite possibly but its so incredibly dumb people look overseas and compare it to us when its apples to oranges.

You cant try that here, it didnt work in Brazil/UK/India/whatever is so beyond stupid its hard to fathom how people saying it got on this site

Irrelevant and classic sheep retort weve come to expect from the dumbest person on the internet

Why cant australia, in its own unique position, have its own unique response?
never stop being a unique free thinking sovereign citizen who believes in memes

Got to say, we have different experiences and points of view but I appreciate the candor.

Our countries are similar in many ways but Canadians say we can’t compare to Australia either.

Not even a unique response. It was the basis of pandemic plans everywhere prior to 2020, most of which assumed a virus far more destructive than Covid.

The only places that come to mind are Sweden, and the UK flirted with it before their modelling spooked them.

Not saying what countries should be doing, I'm a bit over that. Just a couple of countries that came to mind.

If COVID is so harmless why do hospitals get overwhelmed, cemeteries can’t cope and bodies have to be stored in freezer trucks. In India bodies are being cremated in car parks. The people ill with it sharing hospital beds don’t look old.

Population density, sanitation and lack of nutrition (not only due to the majority of the population being vegetarian).

Population density and old population with comorbidities.

For Canada, low levels of sun meaning people are lower in vitamin d weakening the immune system. Also UV kills viruses.

They eat lots of seafood In Scandinavia. It's loaded with vitamin D and omega 3. These boost the immune system.

People underplay nutrition's role in disease and susceptibility to viruses.
Nothing truer posted on the internet re Covid.... hence why if you exercise regularly, eat healthily and are in a healthy weight range Covid is a miniscule risk to you.

Mr Sabhlok says he would like the support of now-independent MP Craig Kelly, who split from the Liberal Party after being reprimanded for spreading coronavirus misinformation on social media, and is in “very close touch” with celebrity chef and conspiracy theorist Pete Evans, who recently announced he would run for Senate under former One Nation Senator Rod Culleton’s Great Australia Party.
