Essendom play exactly the kind of game we struggle with.
Fast short ball movement them long to tall forwards.

Hope it’s a good game. At the end the day Port just has to keep winning, that us the only thing that they can control. What result for Tigers/Hawks is best for us? If West Coast win, we’ll pretty much be guaranteed top 4, but if Richmond win we’re a much better chance of top 2 and West Coke probably won’t get a home QF.
Hmm quite a dilemma.
I was going to say while lying in bed, but that works tooUnless we’re playing essendon tomorrow the odds of daniher playing against us have to be long. The guy could get injured watching football.

After tonight's effort from the Hawks, supporters from BOTH clubs could be trying to think up reasons to give the game a miss.I would be grateful that I was not obligated to attend another Crows game.
A 5:10pm Tuesday game would be enough to turn most fans off. After tonight's effort from the Hawks, supporters from BOTH clubs could be trying to think up reasons to give the game a miss.
Surely the plan for Essendon is to give him a couple of games to show Sydney he's worth trading for and then to put him away again to make sure he doesn't get injured and ruin the deal.Unless we’re playing essendon tomorrow the odds of daniher playing against us have to be long. The guy could get injured watching football.
Reckon we've already won that tradeI honestly don't see what other explanation there at this point is for the utter refusal to play Wingard as anything other than a stay-at-home forward. They keep him in that role and we'll 'win' the trade by a country mile.
Wingard must have had some game. No goals, no clearances, 2 tackles, 2 contested possessions, 8 disposals overall (5 kicks, 3 handballs) but 338 metres gained. This means he averaged 42 metres per disposal. I'm guessing he just hoofed it as far forward as he could with every kick. I don't think I've seen stats that scream IDGAF as much as these stats.
I was thinking watching him last week he looked top heavy. Sometimes these players bulk up and lose that yard of pace.I’m there watching live. Had a bit of a look at Chad off the ball. He looks lost/disinterested. I’m not sure this game plan suits him, there’s no real aggressive ball movement and he’s constantly flat footed waiting for a cheapie.
Other observation is his body shape in comparison to the 2014 version, he looks heavy and more think set - I suspect he’s lost his dynamic movement.
He’s almost playing as a 6ft stay at home full forward.
