Reminds me of a game in Melbourne against North Melbourne, Carey had Paxman by the throat with one hand to hold him off before releasing him to take the mark. The commentators actually said "great use of the body there by Carey."

Carey actually mentioned Paxman specifically in his autobiography that came out just over 10-11 years ago. Called him an octopus and honest battler and said he wanted to knock his head.

It's just something that's always made me laugh.

Arguably the best player of all time, having legendary battles that defined an era of footy with the likes of Silvagni and Jakovich and Stephen Paxman of all people gets more of a mention then those two in his autobiography.
