Carn... that was not a perfectly legal hit. Maybe, should have got a week or 2 less, but you can't say it was a fair hit. It was late and it was high.
No head contact and within 5m of the ball.

The one on the wing where he ran past the ball to clean up.... can't recall who. Unfortunately was always going to get done.
He was hung out to dry by the interview with the player.

He was still great after that, which was in 2013. He turned into another player entirely come 2015. Felt like every touch he had was a clanger.

to be fair, TJ was struggling with osteitis pubis and a quad issue in 2015, he had the turning arc of the titanic - He had it operated on at seasons end. I thought he was pretty good in 2016 until his AFL imposed rest.

If you ignore all the contact to the head, yes.
Neither had any marks or cuts on their head. Nor did either get up clutching their heads. It was a whiplash induced concussion.

You can brace yourself but if you do, it's up to you to avoid contact above the shoulders which he failed to do. As a footballer you have a duty of care towards your opponents head.
You mean like Luke Hodge

Well played. But TJ is well TJ I don't know how you could use him negatively in an argument*. Tom Jonas will have a stellar year. I'm just not prepared to say where and which year.

I did say Ken has a whole year to prove that he deserves his job and so does TJ.

* may actually have a point there that Jonas was played when he really shouldn't have been.
I hope he has a stellar year. He is probably our best one on one defender, so if he could add being able to rebound and cover space when required as well he'd be A grade. I just don't see it happening, but I hope to be proved wrong.
