Hurley is so vulnerable if you actually make him defend. Let him run loose and he’ll cut you up by foot.

Doesn’t take a million dollar coaching panel to figure that out.

Ditto Merrett, who'd been struggling with a hard tag just like Sloane last year.

And spud Stringer returns to his normal self after playing us.

If we miss finals this year I’d like to think we can all chip in for a new coach. Surely he’d have a finals clause in his 3 yr deal.

For all of our team defense first bluster, we've let through some bigger scores quite regularly, and now we have the lowest score of this week to show for it.
Last year weren't we the least points against? WTF happened?

The whole footy world seemed concerned about SPP having already peaked last season. How does Andrew McGrath escape that criticism?

TAC Cup grand final BOG, Pick 1 and Rising Star. Is he actually better than DBJ or 30 other small defenders around the league?

What a bummer of a 14 days we've had:
1. Todd Marshall family tragedy.
2. AFL rat-shit performances against Essendon and Geelong, with the damning stat that we were the lowest scoring Rd5 team on our home deck against a Geelong side without Taylor, Henderson, Ablett or Hawkins
3. Powell-Pepper saga lingering 14 days too long, and resulting in an extra week off.
4. Lindsay Thomas being crucified by the media and suspended for 4 weeks.
5. SANFL side drawing in an ugly encounter with the Eagles and then losing to Sturt again.
6. A seemingly endless list of important players out of form
All of this after going into the Brisbane game in an incredibly positive frame of mind.

On a more positive note, this year has already shown how quickly clubs' fortunes can turn around. Already we've seen Collingwood, the Kangaroos and even West Coast turn their fortunes around in the space of a week after pessimistic forecasts. Fremantle are now also tracking ok, after our round 1 pantsing of them.

Somehow we have to get back to playing fast, unrestricted, attacking, team-oriented, enjoyable footy.

We are so predictable at not living up to anything it’s becoming a joke.
So much this. We inevitably crash land every time there's a hint of expectation placed on us. 2015-2018 have seen the most mentally weak Port Adelaide sides in my memory.
