Why couldn't North do this against us? No wonder we don't like them.

Yeah, tired of North pulling their best game of a season out against Port year after year, then lose to shit sides. Still at least it keeps them out of top 4 running. Now we just (yeah just after the last 3 weeks, ha!) need to win ourselves.

Im finding it very hard to get a handle on North and the Bombers this year. I seriously have no idea if they are any good or not but know that you wouldnt want to meet them on an "on day" at finals time.

Mind you I like the fact that Levi Greenwood is playing to a level that justifies my interest in getting him back to Port, I always copped the 'you wouldn't want him if he never played for the Maggies'.

Levi's a very good inside mid now & worth sounding out when he's out of contract next & hits free agency age.

Not sure what I'm laughing at more at the moment, North or the game itself?

North are Jekyll and Hyde, and now the rules are as well. So many WTF decisions, but two stick out for me tonight. Rowe's front on contact with Petrie in the first quarter, and Daw's hit on Henderson in the last quarter. Both penalised, both what the ... I thought this was a "full contact" sport?

Love the game, hate where it is sitting currently. Would have no appeal whatsoever to international audiences when we can't even get a grip on the game ourselves. Too many rules changing, tampering, and just generally ****ing with the game and here we are ... nothing like the game I grew up loving!

this season i have not sat through one entire game of football that wasnt port adelaide.

every fri night game ive given up caring. if you set up a commitee to schedule the shittest teams , then took the teams to the ross lyon school of coaching , then made the players watch the film 'eat pray love' before each game , you wouldnt have a more boring set of games then this year. when is our fri night game? maybe they are waiting to see if we can revert to choco levels of backwards kicking before we can line up on a fri night.

lol for how many years have roos fans on bigfooty been banging on about how they have the best collection of tall defenders? its been their catch-cry for years now. they should have the defensive groups team photo in the dictionary under 'mediocre'

North North North. Victorian bias makes block buster games and Friday night footy boring. Hence why I hardly watch them. HAWKS v Sydney should be the Friday night show stopper.

Free rides and cheap passes keep rewarding medociroty hence why the average are still average because they are lazy, fat and bloated.

I know at 27 he's nothing special & this is his first game for Carlton but Renouf's body is shot, Cam would be an upgrade on him for our last rookie spot if we couldn't find anyone better & like you said he's from SA.

I wasn't talking about him being our 2nd/3rd ruck but the 'break glass in case of emergency' ruckman, I think he was pretty good tonight against Goldstein & if he cost us nothing he might be worth looking at.

I can't see North dropping out of the eight even after tonight. They'll win enough of their easy games, they still have GWS, Melbourne and the Bulldogs and could clunk one of the unexpected ones. They seem to be making a habit of beating top sides so why not Geelong next round? And they've got the cows at Baulderstone. Wouldn't have thought they were top four material even if they had won tonight. They would still have been behind us with the same number of wins but would still have been at least 15% behind(they're 21% behind now).
