The worst thing Trigg did for Port was being so piss weak in all his negotiations with the SANFL.

By being such a sycophant on issues from owning our own licenseto moving to Adelaide Oval to getting a good stadium deal to getting a reserves team etc. he effectively undermined Ports ability to get a better deal.

It was always "well the Crows are ok with it so..."

I haven't seen anywhere in the media's lists of Trigg's achievements while CEO of the Cows that he was the first, and so far the only, VFL/AFL CEO to take a coach off of contract and make them a permanent member of staff.

When an Adelaide fan who was there says people were beginning to wince at how often he was referring to us, you know he had his club's best interests at heart.
