I have also been browsing that board lol. Realistically, they would have to do a straight swap for danger/talia or trade a player of that calibre out, get a top 5 pick + extras, and on trade that pick with someone like douglas + more. We would have to give up a lot to bring him in as well. If Cameron had a choice though, I can only see Port as being a more attractive destination

I'm on the North bandwagon, they're as brave and exciting as anything we're doing. If it's not us this year I want it to be them.

Given we've payed unders the last few years and the new rules allowing catch up, I'd expect we'd have more coin to throw about then Adelaide. And as a young KPF are you going to want to be in front of Boak, Wines and Gray for years or in front of Thompson, Douglas and Dangerfield as your 3 main suppliers? Between free agency and retirement the heart of their 'best midfield in the league' won't even be there in 2 - 3 years.

And if it was just about the money Cameron wouldn't want out of GWS anyway. The AFL has ensured they'll bend the rules if required with 'promotional' allowances and the like for the GWS / GC to get their base support locked in. So Adelaide - missed finals, main in and unders on the way out one way or another, Geelong - the slide down the ladder is now well and truly on or Port - on the up and all but certain finals actions and a real flag threat immediately for the next 3 - 4 years. Seriously if due to his home town it's between the 3 clubs and he's a player who wants success it should take 0.005 seconds after last night to be on the phone to his manager to say 'Whatever it takes, get me to Port'.

Do know "F**k the Port Power scum"? he's always changing his story. Guaranteed we'd lose first week of finals, then saying that if Port missed out on the PF he'd be happy. The more we keep proving that **** wrong, the more he'll change his story and predictions hahaha.
