Fair to say West Coast are bottom 4 to bottom 6 and round 1 is going to be a good, old fashioned slog against Freo,we all know what Freo are about, they haven't changed and now I'm counting down the days.

I'll make it on West Coast with McKenzie gone for the year,Jack Darling has barely done any of pre season we keep hearing in Perth and their lack of a midfield.Their a developing side I feel. Its probably best to wait until after round 1 to make calls on teams for this year, not NAB form

That's pretty soft.Ballantyne just said he expects to be playing round 1 providing he has no hiccups.

West coast may be legit poo.
West Coast's current position is the same as ours? Equa first...also known as equal last.Seeing as crows' supporters think Walsh was the brains behind Hinkley was he also the architect of West Coast's current position?

Stephen Rowe believes this - I am sure.I don't think anybody actually thinks that, just a bit of pot stirring. Hinkley's game plan was well defined before Walsh came onboard at port and Walsh himself has clearly stated that he can take no credit for port's successful playing style. Tbh I didn't know a lot about Walsh until he was announced (except that he apparently loathed us until he got to know people at the club during Dean Bailey's illness) but it was the words your midfielders had to say about him that gave me the most hope that we've landed a good one. Hinkley is an astute tactician in his own right and has runs on the board. Probably my favourite coach after Clarkson. Walsh seems quite good in that area too but its too early to say definitively. You guys were just being greedy having both of them![]()

Cripps looks a pretty good player. Those guys who have late growth spurts always turn out to be gems cause they end up having the skills of both a small and a tall. Bontempelli another example.
and there was one who played for us who was pretty handy. Not as good as Brown or Lucas but still pretty good.
All three of Tredrea, Riewoldt and Pav at least 10 spots behind Brown. Lol.Mike Sheahan recently did his top 50, and Fox Sports allowed people to vote for each player as being underrated, overrated or to agree with Mike's positioning of the player in the top 50. Victorian crowd and media favourite Jonathan Brown came it at number 34 on Mike's rank, but astonishingly he ranked at number 5 in the public's view. In contrast, Warren Tredrea ranked 47 on Mike's chart, and 48 with the public. I know it's great that Warren's in there and all and to be fair, a spot around the 40 mark is probably about right for him, but sheesh, Brown is hideously overrated.

Now you're just fishing for likesRowey is a loud mouthed imbecile

If Jonathan Brown gets #1 in the AFL player-voted top 50 they're running right now I won't be surprised. And that's with him being retired.Mike Sheahan recently did his top 50, and Fox Sports allowed people to vote for each player as being underrated, overrated or to agree with Mike's positioning of the player in the top 50. Haha I wish I was. Unfortunately I've had to devote more time and effort than I'd like to the odd melt on our own board about the dross that flows so freely from his mouth. Now you're just fishing for likes![]()

The Carlton board have been talking up Cripps all preseason. One of those kids who is tracking to explode.
I cant find it in myself to call someone a champion that gouges defenders eyeballs when the ball is headed in that direction.I'm not going to take anything away from Brown as a player, but pound for pound in reality...Tredrea was the better player. Could do things Brown could only dream about
