Of course we want to win, but deal with the reality that there is absolutely nothing on the match, the difference between 10th or 11th, woah. nothing for us, nothing for them. Unlike the Hawks game where they were playing for potentially a home prelim, that was a real hit out. These last 2 games won't be.Dead rubbers? Gold Coast maybe, but now that Fremantle has lost to Norf I want to bury them by 100+ and make sure they never win a premiership. Ever.

Nothing to be gained. Trying to win of course but you learn when the pressure is on, the time for giving palmer and the rest a go was a month or two ago.
Sorry typo I ment Millhouse.David Moyes is more of a chance.
Aaaarrggghhh just saw a we fly as one ad before the Carlton v Melb blockbuster on 7. My eyes they burn!
Who cares about the crows? Good luck to them. If your good enough to play finals you deserve your crack. We weren't, simple as that.Hope this means the Cows will miss the finals, now gotta hope the Eagles win next week & the Cats win their last two...
We have seen enough of Moore, giving Palmer a go wouldn't hurtSo if Norf win thus mathematically ending our season, do we focus on playing guys like Moore, young, Amon and Palmer?

What's that got to do with picking players them, I along with a few others wanted palmer in back then. go back at any time over history, teams that are out of it will just go through the motions. These last two rounds will be pressure free, bruise free nothing games. Like dead rubbers always are.LOL the club was not thinking of finals a month or two ago.
For a long time too.Freo jeez that cupboard is bound to stay bare

Agree but it gives a guy like Palmer a perfect insight into how guys like Gray and Boak prep for the top level.Pointless, hit and giggle matches, dead rubbers mean nothing, no pressure, just 44 blokes going through the motions not trying to get hurt. You learn nothing from these games.
Fremantle will destroy Melbourne at home next week and bring over their reserves side, they have nothing to play for. we will win that game by a minimum of 80 points, in fact I think it will be out biggest ever win. Bruise free dickers that game, that's a certainty. No difference? Hawthorn, Sydney and West Coast have piss easy games to tune up for finals with. All at home. We can effectively derail Fremantle's entire premiership push by smashing the shit out of them and roughing them up for Sydney when they go over to Subiaco.
That's something for US to play for. **** Fremantle.

Yeah but the season was still alive fir all concerned.Again, my point was that we've been playing "dead rubbers" half the year. Next two weeks are no different.
shit attitude, it won't be bruise free from our boys & i don't give a shit about the oppositionWhat's that got to do with picking players them, I along with a few others wanted palmer in back then. go back at any time over history, teams that are out of it will just go through the motions.
