'High horse' eh? You do realise how that sounds, don't you? Similar sentiments have been used for many, many years in attempts to stop those from minorities who are taking a stand against prejudice (see for eg. the use of 'uppity' http://www.thewire.com/politics/2011/11/yep-uppity-racist/45321/).

The simple fact is that some booed Goodes because he was black, some booed him because he was a very good player, some booed him because of the way he plays the game. However, after he took a stand against being abused because of his race, the booing intensified and has continued to do so ever since. There is no reason for it other than racism, whether it is explicit or implicit.

Not a lot of love for Freo on this board, not sure why that is, out of the final 4 they would probably be the most bearable for mine.

Order of preference:
Fremantle - Haven't won a flag yet, Pavlich deserves to go out a premiership player, still don't mind Pearce and Fyfe is a star.
West Coast - probably my second preference. Hoping for a derby GF but for freo to beat them. Something about the Eagles that remind me of the Crows.
Hawthorn - No thanks. They've had their fun, and their fair share of luck too in finals with a lot of close wins, especially in prelims.
North Melbourne - this would be the biggest joke ever if they won from 8th.

Just those racists seem to all disappear at any other time of year and game of footy. I didn't realise how selective these evil racists can be.

He for one was not helped by sooking to the AFL then the AFL labelling everyone racists which in turn meant he would get booed still as a **** you to the AFL.

Wow, that is cringeworthy and I'm from gen y (or z). Looks like someone from our... er morale team has been watching too much shounen lately. Perhaps though, behind that sign, the players are furiously pumping the weights to the smiles and death tunes from the hordes of hades.
