Hot, stifling, players dropping from heat exhaustion but perfect for footy.
Thanks BT.

If lever is sore, then we need to smash him in a tackle.. be bloody ruthlessCan't fathom how we are behind?
We seem to be running rings around them - fast, open, free flowing footy, cutting them to ribbons, whereas Malbun are a fumbling, bumbling rabble.
Petracca has shanked every one of his kicks bar one!
Our rucks aren't being smashed at all.
We're kicking goals out of our backside.
Players running in waves and hunting in numbers.
A few clangers, but we look far the better side.
Lever and May no influence.
Pickett keeping them in it.
And they're ahead??????
Still, Dees have folded in the last half almost every game the past two months, so we should still surge away in the last stanza.![]()
They're also not getting done for HTB when they should, just dropping it in the tackle constantly.Melbourne tackle us without the ball non stop and no frees
But gee we have shot ourself in the foot a few times with rubbish turnovers
We are fumbling and bumbling more than them - a pandemic of fumbles I called it in another post. Bonner, Farrell, Amon in particular. Can't fathom how we are behind?

What did I miss?

Wasted opportunity. Melbourne were ripe for the picking. Instead we picked ourselves apart with error after error. Skill errors, slipping over, dropped sitters, handball and kicking turnovers, dreadful spoils to the opposition. The last twenty minutes have been a feast of dumb and/or panic ridden football. Four players especially have stood out for their lack of output combined with errors:What did I miss?
At least he’s not making racist comments about the locals, so far.
Paging SPPIf lever is sore, then we need to smash him in a tackle.. be bloody ruthless
Great post.So many scared guys, all the usual suspects too.
Mead isn't AFL standard at all. Not sure why we persist.
Bonner can play really good AFL footy but when you have a player capable of turning in efforts like he is today then that will always come back to bite you. Scared beyond reason.
Butters needs to work out if he's going to be a good player or not. He's had enough time to be able to impose himself on the game to a higher standard.
Georgiades just hasn't a football brain at all. Great hands (mostly) and a decent kick at goal from 30m but apart from that he hasn't a clue whats going on at all.
Senior guys jogging to a contest as they swoop and goal, a captain just pushing the ball out of bounds, a complete lack of intent from most highlighted by our embarrassing tackle numbers, fumbles, u/12 decison making - its total footy - yay!!!
Yet somehow we're still in it.
My god, Hinkley has let standards completely evaporate during his time at Port.
Try, but if it gets too hard that's cool. We'll have a connection session during the week and share our thoughts and move on to next week asap.
We've been doing those for years. Years and years. Our best performances have been littered with them.Ridiculous to say we are playing as well as we can and then go on to list how poor our mistakes are. Need to tidy them up.
