Find it interesting that most on the Carlton board already have menzel coming to the crows. Some even for a second rounder.

Personally think this is a bargain if it happens.

Also noticed that jetta hadn't re-signed, not sure what the story is there and potentially a bit too old, but worth a conversation I would have thought and miles better than dmac or hendo.

From what I've heard his situation is similar to Dangerfield's in that he will either stay at Sydney or go home to WA. But surely we have asked the question.

If Hamish ever lives up to the talent he had I'd be happy to trade for him, but thats a HUGE win for the Suns IMO.

Menzel is great I see him being a Douglas type player! This off season id rather see us replace DMac with an outside run player like Isaac smith

Definitely a bargain. He has had a bad year (like the rest of Carlton) but you can't read too much into that, if you're Adelaide. On the other hand, I hope Carlton do.

Port will move a few players so will have the assets

To do that though they sacrifice their depth, yet again, which they have almost none of.

-They could trade Lobbe and possibly get a late first round pick.
-They could get a second round pick for Schultz, probably about pick 40.
-They might get a late 3rd round pick for Butcher

Do they have anyone worth anything after that that anyone would want? Young? Moore? O-Shea? Mitchell? Bottom of the barrel stuff right there.

ps: Think I am being too optimistic with their players trade values.
