No,have you?
Gawn is a gun, Hogan is an overrated sooky hack.Disagree, I think Gawn and Hogan are bigger misses structually than ours
They all put their heads over the pill today. All showed enough to make the future look promising. Not just today's game, but in general.......Broomhead, Aish WHE, & Phillips hear steps and are ineffective tacklers
It's just because he doesn't have that breakaway pace or strength that catches the eye at key moments. He is the guy that slices through traffic, threads the needle with a handball to open the game up and allows someone like Swan to kick the winner. He didn't do it today, but he has done it many times and will do it many more.Great player. But I can't ever remember him winning us any of those close matches we've had in recent years, that's all the point I was trying to make.

Either you have deleted the offending posts or I am have missed them. Seems a tame thread to me given we lost to an ordinary team. Haven't seen the game cos I was teaching at a Cambodian school while the game was in progress. However the comments in this thread have dissuaded me from downloading the game. Looks like Bucks and others should still be moved on despite what has transpired in prior weeks.Folks, please keep it civil towards each other, thanks
Tends to be a bit timid in ground contested situations doesn't he.
Needs to add a good 10kgs of muscle.
Sigh. I'll add Reid, Varcoe, Elliot , Wells and Goldy to our side and they can have Gawn and that overrated hack, Hogan playing. How can ppl be positive. We lost to a team missing their number 1 ruckman and full forward. We are just crap, face it!!
Four goal leads are nothing in today's game. There are always momentum shifts. Have you been to many games of footy recently? It happens every week in numerous games.Really, do you think we should have given up a 4 goal lead as meekly as we did.....dont blame the umps. This is like Buckley deflecting losses due to injuries......get off it!!
I mentioned it, thought it was horrid.I haven't read every post but has the fact JDG dropped a chest mark in the dying minute been mentioned?
They all put their heads over the pill today. All showed enough to make the future look promising.
Are you ok?
Sidebottom, Smith, Scharenberg? Is it ok if I ask your thoughts on that player who's surname starts with S?
Sidebottom, Smith, Scharenberg?
No - I am still Pissed Off by the Scumps
ENOUGH.
Please enough is enough with the umpiring. I'm embarrassed at the umpiring bashing on here and radio. So maybe today it didn't roll our way. It happens.
IT DID NOT cost us the game.
Question marks on whether a few on that list make it long term e. g Smith and Crocker..... but the rest look like long term players IMO
And there is some potential debutant players still to come in at some stage this year like Daicos, Kirby... and of course inexperienced players like Cox and Ramsay still developing at VFL level
It's a tough game and I'll put my hand up to say I can only imagine how good you need to be to get a game but under the circumstances every single player out there should be going for that mark like their life depended on it. It was a bloody chest mark.I mentioned it, thought it was horrid.
Does good things, and some down-right awful things.
Overall his game today was better than previous weeks. Need him trending in an upwards direction.
Had the umpiring been consistent today we would have won. That is not opinion, it is fact. In terms of today's game, to say the umpiring didn't make a difference today is moronic.
That said - it's swings and roundabouts, I don't think it was intentional on their behalf and we will get the good end of a similar stick every now and then.
i have, hitting my head against brick wall today. No,have you?
Ha ha! I thought he showed some glimpses of what others have seen -especially that mark from a kick in. But to be honest, Shaz had another underwhelming game. If Goldy and Varcoe are right I would drop Shaz and Langdon. He has a future but not an immediate one in our best 22 in my humble opinion. Is it ok if I ask your thoughts on that player who's surname starts with S?
