Post Your Final Team for 2008

With the forced trades of this week, most like myself have probably used all their trades. Here's my team.

All constructive criticism welcome. I made a bunch of mistakes which is probably obvious and with all the sideways trading and injuries never got around to upgrading Palmer or Rioli. I think my midfield is probably the weakest on this whole site and my rucks, well they speak for themselves..all i can say is, next year.




On a side note, i finally figured out how to take a screenshot so the whole sc season hasn't been a complete shambles

Don't ask about Morris - was very rushed and wanted to get a few uniques in i.e. McPharlin.

I know how u feel, my uniques have been what cost me this year haha.

Still a very solid team mate, lots of 2008 stars in there. McPharlin is an interesting one, scored huge last week if i remember right.

Very nice, my opponent this week has almost an identical team amazing. So yes im in trouble

Fisher, Milburn, Bok, Stiff, McLeod, Bartel, Mitchell, Corey, Goodes, Stevens, Cotchin, Simmo, ROK, Buddy, BJ, Brown..so like 80% of your starting line up.

My starting 22 is alright, but my bench is crap.

BACKS: S.Fisher, Gilbee, Newman, P.Burgoyne, Milburn, Mcleod, Proud (SDT, Myers).
MIDS: Hodge, Bartel, Corey, K.Cornes, B.Harvey, Dal Santo. (Wellingham, Ward).
RUCKS: Cox, Simmonds. (Hampson, Meesen) lol
FORWARDS: Pavlich, J.Brown, Riewoldt, Franklin, O'Keefe, Chapman, B.Johnson. (Valenti, Ross).

Proud and Simmonds are the clear weaknesses. Ah well. I'm confident I can win my league GF, but it's certainly looking to next year for overall. I'm just outside the top 5000, after a terrible few week between round 13-17ish.

Thanks again. SBlack...well he is just too expensive..hes so consistent that his price hardly drops, so its hard to pick him up...would love him though.

Last trade is a toss up atm...but most likely Simmo...if not hold it for an injury

My team is F##ked too. Killed by injuries late in the season, but its no excuse and i did to many sideways trades this season.

Although, this is my second full season, so i think ill be ready for it next year.

This is a decent side. The good thing is that it has a lot of depth, esp. compared to most teams, so you have good coverage for injuries, etc.

Major weak point, I think, is a slight lack of guns. But if you cut back on the sideways trades that shouldn't be such a problem next year.

Simmonds and King as your starting rucks is the main problem.

Given this is my first year and I had no idea what I was doing at the start, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. King is a bit of a dud, but if it weren't for the Shaws partying hard and Grandpa Aker breaking his hip I wouldn't have any rookies playing. Gonna save a few more trades next year.
