Negatives-

We look slow, just how many of our players are 100% fit, or 80% fit for that matter?
Lack of communication, lack of run, lack of intensity, lack of tackling, lack of manning up, lack of hitting targets, lack of forward pressure, lack of midfield pressure, lack of defensive pressure, lack of interchange pressure, lack of experience. lack of just about everything really.

Positives: One of the youngest lists in the AFL

Negatives: Watching the Hawks lose...

Positives: A strong list with a committed coach, we'll be back next year...:thumbsu:

Re: Uh...so...Positives

Saved $2K I would have spent on the new telly had I had to watch that crap.:D
Followed it on the net - keyboard is cheaper to replace.

Didn't get to see any of it! Any positives at all? Shiels? How was Dowler? What about the whipping boys Murphy Taylor and mcglynn?

It would seem that the only positive news from a club perspective today was max getting thru and savage playing ok but still yet to read a detailed match report from box hill.

Aussies going ok in the cricket which would seem to be better viewing right now even though it is only the equivalent of the nab cup!

bahhhh positives- havent laughed so hard in ages

negatives- they took the good old saying "dont think do" i bit to seriously

Well, just back from the game and wasnt that fun, not.

Quarter 1 highlight.

Aisle 11 - about 5 rows back a Hawk supporter stands up and throws his Hawthorn scarf at the Hawthorn bench. I think he made a statement.

Quarter 3 highlight.

Taylor comes to the bench. Another Hawk supporter stands up right behind him and starts doing "basketball shots" with one arm going up and the palm coming down! I think he to made a statement.

Highlight on the field. Quarter 4
.

Changa & Brad Johnson are running hard from wing to WB Forward line (just before Hill kicks a goal) Changa is slightly in front when he STOPS, PROPS and LAUNCHES his shoulder into Johnson who goes down big time only to get up with a mouthful of Eithad Stadium turf. Well done Changa, couldnt have done it to a more deserving piece of ...

Lowlights....there were a few.

Q1. Stokes handball on the Medallion Club wing to a McGlynn who is flying past him.... ball misses the target and goes out of bounds.....:(

Games like tha don't hurt you. You just wipe them and move on

Doubt it.
This club has just gone back 5 years tonight. It's clear something is wrong at the club and its not miraculously going to get better this week just because of a belting.

I fear we are in for a torrid 2 months.

Negatives:

Constant handballing to players under pressure. Basically breeds a suicide culture throughout the team.

Also, coupled with that, is the fact that the players are not sensing opposition players around them when they have the ball, leading to numerous holding the balls.

And to add with those points, I don't know whether it is ego's coming into play, but too many players are trying to break tackles when they have no chance to get through the lines.

These aren't just points that will go away when stars come back, which is worrying.

Positives:
+ It's over (unfortunately not just the game)
+ We won the third quarter (as the thread title on our board says)
+ Dunstall's record of 72 consecutive games with at least one goal is intact, as it should be (sorry Buddy :()
+ We stayed within 100 points
+ We couldn't possibly get any worse than that, surely not (although I've thought this before) :p
+ Surprisingly I'm still in relatively high spirits (could just be the pseudoephedrine though), at least more so than last week, maybe I've just stopped worrying enough
+ I will be able to upgrade my seat next year when we lose a proportion of our current members (perhaps a significant amount)
+ No injuries! At least, I hope Roughead is ok
+ There is always next week, next year, etc

Negatives:
- Bah, most of these covered, I can feel enough of the tension on this board as it is already, you can cut it with a knife :o

Positive - Thought Kennedy was good. Looks a lot better and somewhat quicker than last year. Sewell, Hodge.

Negatives - Disposal skills are woeful. Selling teamates into trouble. Standing back watching instead of tackling then watching the ball go over thier head. 1st Qrt, 2nd Qrt, 3rd Qrt, 4th Qrt.

Sheedy really was a genius back in 92-93 then

Positives -
Essendon lost.....we are still a chance!!!!
Kennedy looked ok
Dowler looked ok
No injuries
Lewis showed he coul be a handy forward when required.

Negatives -
Where do we start. Disposal, pressure (or lack of). Just never looked in the game. To often we had a chance to break and fumbled and second guessed
