Most clearances Parker ever averaged in a season was 6.4

In his career Kennedy beat that number 7 times.

Mitchell beat Parkers 6.4 only once. Parker has averaged 5.1 clearances over his career - Mitchell 4.9

Kennedy a pretty lofty comparison, but interesting that Parker does average more clearances per match than Mitchell over their careers. So perhaps he is quite a pretty good inside mid, given you rate Mitchell as such.

but his possession, clearance, tackle numbers suggest he wasn't playing on the wing

Kennedy was an A grade all timer though

Parker is no where near JPK as a player (not many are )

It isn't just the raw numbers either. Kennedy usually got the ball out of packs reasonably cleanly but Parker is king of the hack/hope kicks out of stoppages.
