For those looking for an early Xmas gift for a loved one, the Swans shop still
have these for sale.

Now knowing the way that game played out, wouldn't give 10c for it!

Clarry comes with a fair bit of off field baggage which would be my concern. in fact his parents are my concern, his behaviour I believe is a direct result of their constant negative criticism of him.

Great footballer but has a few issues to sort through sadly.

These are the t-shirts what will end up being spotted in some obscure village in Africa a few years down the track.

If Pyke heads west I wonder if McQualter heads north? Different set of experiences. No idea of his circumstances of course. Just a thought.

Possibly reunites with Hardwick.

Expect he will be in high demand. Did a pretty decent job at the Tiggers.

Expect Cameron or Spike McVeigh to also get offers. Either would be good replacements for Pyke. Might be time for a bit of a refresh in the Coaches Box anyway, preferably someone with tactical acumen who can help us better balance turnover and clearances.

Could be handy, my bin has needed a liner for months now

Assistant coaches market very busy at the moment - a lot of movement going on.

Hard for us to attract folks to Sydney coz of real estate prices. This would not have been an issue for Pyke but the Club has commented on this previously.

Also for ACs with teenagers with a real aptitude for footy, finding schools with footy programs (aside from the Academy) may also be an issue.

I thought about risking the ire of the off-topic police and putting this on the media thread where it might have a better chance of being read by someone working at the Swans.

I've been following the Ange Postecoglu story for a few years, and I'm impressed by the news coverage Tottenham supporters receive via their club website (see link below).

While it's difficult to compete in Australia with the amount of media available in the UK, there are some elements I'd love the club to adopt. They run external stories that don't always show Tottenham in a good light, and not just media managed stories like the Mills apology. As well as linking stories from media outlets, if a commentator, ex-player or manager says something about the club or a player, it's written up into a quick grab story. It's something that could be done here with all the footy shows, radio etc.

I know our media team probably doesn't have the same resources, but I'd love even a watered down version at the Swans.

The AFL (and NRL) sites are all managed/operated by telstra and running off a single theme/platform.

it's more Telstra can't be bothered than anyone at the swans.

I highly doubt that the media team even has access to the IT team at Telstra.

Didn't Spurs just finish building themselves a billion dollar stadium? Our media team are probably half made up of interns working for job experience, and as mentioned Telstra set the websites etc and we have to comply within the templates.

Yes and its a bloody brilliant stadium at that. Went there last November for the game against Liverpool and had access to hospitality seats and boy its a different world.

The output is based upon the amount of staff available. The system Telstra have made available is not in anyway user friendly and doesn't promote use outside of publishing articles.

Wordpress would be better than what they have now.

Will be interesting to see if we do loo at having Parker spend more time forward next year. I still think he was playing hurt this year. He regularly looked like he was in discomfort. Even if that was the case, it's all the more reason to ease his workload a bit. The longer his body is up to playing AFL, even as a forward, the better for us to state the obvious.
I think Parker is a one-trick pony as a very good contested mid, I could see him struggling to contribute spending too much time up forward. Just my 2p.

Still finished high in the skilton

Maybe heeney , Hayward and Logan should

Yep , I said the way he finished the season

he was average by his standards

Logan is developing, the other two need to do more absolutely

When he is fit sure, but he has not been fit in a while and he lied about how fit he was for the 2022 Grand Final.
Have a spell mate because that statement is the biggest load of shit I have read here for a long long time. You have really excelled with this one. He Lied ????? How the **** would you know what the conversation between him and Match Committee was ????

I was in the very first team (U13s) that Baulkham Hills ever fielded back in the mid 70s. We had split off from Pennant Hills and got flogged every week. From there the club started to grow and taste success (now the East Coast Eagles).

Imagine my pleasure when I visited a secluded village in the PNG highlands in 1989 to see a young kid wearing a Baulkham Hills Junior Australian Rules Football Club T-shirt. Totally bizarre and I obviously remember it to this day.
