May from Gold Coast. If it means we have to trade plus picks, Im all for it. Wouldnt even say no to Tommy for May in a swap. But we would have to re sign him 1st i think.... Not totally up to date with the rules

May would be good.

Don't want to lose Tommy tho. We have this bloke called Towers that everyone is raving about.

Or perhaps we could offer Jessie. Pies don't seem to want him.

Tom Mitchell for May?? WTF?

im not confusing one of the best mids in the team though.
Yeah but to get something you have to give something. Who would you think is most dispensable? Def not Parks or Hanners. Jack and Joey are getting on a bit. Heeney and Mills going no where. I cant see many more valuable pieces that could land us a future gun defender for the next decade. Tippet could always want to move home one day.

Cant see gold coast giving him up nor us having enough cap room to persuade him. If we did get him however i would rather trade this and next years first rounder for him than mitchell.

Only if Mitchell wanted to go would i want the club to entertain a trade like this. Even if he did it would likely be to a Victorian team so some sort of 3 way trade would have to be manufactured.

Mitchell is pretty far ahead after the same games I reckon

Ahead now. http://finalsiren.com/PlayerCompare.asp?SeasonID=&SelectedPlayers=2384,1956,2126,&Compare=Go&Sort=AverageRating Desc

Its a tight race not sure why some think he is expendable or first of the good players out

I definitely don't watch Mitchell out. I think actively looking to trade him out would be insanity and don't think the club would ever dream of it. As I've said before only if Mitchell got an offer too good to refuse and asked for a trade would i want the club to try and turn him into a good quality KPD (like may).

But if i was ranking the clubs mids, id have him below Parker and Hannebery, not by a lot but definitely below.

Mitchell seems to hit more targets by foot than parker

This season Parker's disposal efficiency is 71.5%, Mitchell's 64.3%.
Parker has more disposals, more contested disposals, more goals, more clearances and averages 1.3 contested marks per game (Mitchell nil).

Mitchell is a solid inside mid, lacking leg speed with average disposal.
Parker who is 7 months older is simply a far better, more versatile player.

Should be targeting hurley imo. Expensive yes and i wouldnt know who we could dish up if there was a trade, FA will prob get us another ban too...

Don't want Hurley. He's good, but he'd be too expensive. Our cap is tight (rumour) so we simply can't afford him. I'm happy to back Talia, Aliir or Reid (or in a perfect world, AJ gets back), to make a decent go of it. You pay big bucks for forwards, you keep your best mids happy, but you don't pay huge salaries to your back 6.

Seems like a bit of a sh*t bloke though

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy watching that bump on Martin...I know that the head is sacrosanct and we need to protect it at all costs but geez it was a good hit!

A bit of aggression I dont mind, the way he blasts his team mates though. Didnt he give TOm Lynch a bit of a whack and a spray when he did something wrong?
