With ankle injuries to Tippett and Sinclair should the rucks go back to having higher cut boots to provide more support when they roll their ankle?
smiling to myself to see such old-fashioned boots :)

The Swans' addicttion to tesm flexibility is to the detriment of players that can't effectively switch roles and positions.

Its ok for a handful of players, not half a team. I look at Reid, Rohan, BJack, Florent, Towers, Tippett, Sinclair, McGlynn and other players that have struggled with role and position changes. Some players just have to be able to play 1 role and play it very well.

There's something in that.

However, looking at yesterday's GF, you can go the other way and saying cast iron structure can just as easily fall apart when you're left with positional players - especially talls like Jenkins, Tex and Otten - out there struggling for relevance.

Our handling of our rucks has been a massive discussion point all year. Case is closed for mind. Nank system or bust next year please.

Next step is to turn Hayward, Ollie and Gaz into players that do what they do well and let them do it, rather than ask them to fill in for what others around the ground don't do well.

Are the swans social media department trying to make light of the last 2 GF we have been in by putting up so much stuff about our win in 12
Give a rest imo
I was married in 2012.

I know live with someone I actually love.

2012 was an age ago.

Time to move on for sure.

We have won as many flags in the last decade as the dogs and tiggers. No point in giving ourselves pats the back endlessly for stuff that is well in the past.

Win one now.

They were putting stuff up aswell about our 05 win, what's wrong with acknowledging a couple of the best days of the club's history?

Not a thing.

The club tends to use it as a crutch though.

Timing is everything.

The punchline is too late for the joke.

So a friend liked a Swans 2012 grand final highlights video on Facebook this morning for some reason - so naturally I watched it

And I picked up a detail that I have never seen discussed. An important detail

Everyone always talks about Malceski’s Snap: No one ever talks about O’Keefe’s Duck.

To wit:

That split-second spatial awareness. That's what it's all about.

That's your Norm Smith right there.

Can somebody do some research into ROK and his childhood basketball habits?

I did.

I put his duck in a 'greatest AFL photos of all time' thread a while back.

Great turnaround from ROK after he missed a tackler in his peripheral vision in 06 that cost us the lead with only mins to go.
