The Swans' addicttion to tesm flexibility is to the detriment of players that can't effectively switch roles and positions.
Its ok for a handful of players, not half a team. I look at Reid, Rohan, BJack, Florent, Towers, Tippett, Sinclair, McGlynn and other players that have struggled with role and position changes. Some players just have to be able to play 1 role and play it very well.

There's something in that.
However, looking at yesterday's GF, you can go the other way and saying cast iron structure can just as easily fall apart when you're left with positional players - especially talls like Jenkins, Tex and Otten - out there struggling for relevance.
Our handling of our rucks has been a massive discussion point all year. Case is closed for mind. Nank system or bust next year please.
Next step is to turn Hayward, Ollie and Gaz into players that do what they do well and let them do it, rather than ask them to fill in for what others around the ground don't do well.
I hope the Swans trade aggressively and go for whoever is good that's available, even if it replaces established players.

That way I get overtime! But I have to work 16 hour days....and I'm camping in the middle of nowhere so I don't have access to watch anything live (especially footy)
