Who of the current or recently retired bunch of 100 plus games Swans have boys out there right now? Who can we set our eyes on in 15 or so years time?

Who was that little **** that made his way onto the podium when the boys were presented with the 2005 premiership cup?

But on a serious note , I think we should pressure the AFL into accepting a father/daughter rule and also allowing female players. I'm sure Pluggers daughters would be capable of pulling on the socks and frightening the living daylights out of opposition backmen.

Actually thats not true as we can sign Roosy's kids under the NSW Scholarship Scheme.

Hey, considering the shortage of ex-Swans legends pumping out kids, I say NSW Scholarship Scheme all the way.

I agree, the Father - Son rule should come first. I can't imagine many other AFL footballers kids being born in NSW, so can't see how the NSW Scholarship Scheme would benefit us more. Tradition is more important.

We could've put Kane Murphy on our scholarship list too, but we didn't. Can't have it both ways.

Yes it did, however he chose to go to St Kilda.

We could have got him by:

1. Offering a scholarship ourselves; or
2. Asking him to not participate in the scholarship scheme and draft him under the F/S rule

Seeing as though option 1 is easier and means we wouldnt have had to use a high draft pick that would have been the way to go.

The only logical reason why we don't have him is that we chose not to offer a scholarship. Perhaps Sydney football watchers may be able to enlighten the rest of us why

I played at the state carnival with Dylan and he has decent skills but is no where near good enough for afl level or a scholarship... I have seen him play and there are much better players in his team!

He doesn't quite say that in the article. Instead he says he wouldn't care who he played for if he got the chance meaning that he wouldn't be against coming to the swans if we picked him up as a father-son selection.

Luffy I think has a son. Yep he is about 8ish

I think Cressa has 3 kids - one boy I think.

Kirk has a son.

Micky O had a second not so long ago. His first was definitely a girl but I think the second is a boy.right again

Monty had one recently. No idea of gender. Girl Elke

ROK has one due soon.

Leo and Mathews have some. No idea of details.Im sure leo has a boy but far too young
