Event Pre-Season 37 Practice Match: West Coast Wonders v Roys FFC at Bainlea Oval

Thanks for coming out to Bainlea Oval for this pre-season clash.

and all of the Roys and Wonders players that showed up for the last couple of days. It was a good way to open up 2024 and get some rust off and boy were the Wonders rusty to start!

I have some awards to give out.

Firstly, the DenieD medal.
This award is given to the player with the most goals kicked in todays match.
It's dino_67 with five snags and a game winning performance!!

Secondly, the not DenieD medal.
This award is given to the player who couldn't kick goals and instead kicked a truck load of points.
This one goes to Marklar_33 for a 0.2 performance!!

The 'Wheres Wally' award.
This award is given to the player who was worst on ground.
This one could go to Pamcake1 for not setting foot on the ground at all and recording a donut stat line.
but I'm going to give it to myself for having Mooch kick 4 on me, getting sent to the bench, and then coming back on and having Eat Fresh kick a goal on me.

and finally, today's best on ground medal
The simulation says it's tigs2010.
37 disposals, 6 tackles, 4 goals, and 115 fantasy points.

Match Over!

The Roys lead all day but hit the pub early. A crucial finger from SSwans2011 saved the Wonders then he kicked the sealer. In between it was dino_67 who starred. In fact both clubs would have seen enough from their rookies to be excited.

When i was visiting a pal in the hospital today, we were just talking about me getting stuck back into making burrito nights again for the first time since 2006 when things got weird at home. I wonder if I can remember how to not balls it up
