What really worries me is Hills state of mind. Imagine playing, signing, and stating he wants to play for Collingwood. Just how do you begin to deal with that level of stupidity.
This was an intentional silly statement. Hill is a pie and brilliant footballer. May all issues, physical and mental be resolved by the experience staff at the club. May he consistently take gams apart. Not sure why the neg.

Yeah but this year I'm saying it with my hands clasped and I also lit a candle. So it's different.
Tbf, it really could have been this year if not for that ACL injury. The club clearly have high hopes for him, and he's working hard as anyone atm on and off the field.
Thankfully he's had no setback during this recovery.

Boring news, but Justin Leppitsch was just on my flight to Sydney this morning.

Let’s all wildly speculate as to which Swans/Giants players he’s here to poach.

When’s the last time you’ve seen Maynard kick the ball properly on his right? :)

It's really over-hyped as a necessity. Being able to turn onto your opposite foot to create space and execute is a great asset to have. The reality however is that are very few in the league that you want trying to hit targets on their opposite foot. For most it's just a take territory option when under pressure.

Yep
All these players that get praised for the “brilliant banana kick” or “using the outside of their boot” to hit a target when in reality they have to bc they can’t use their non dominant foot

He’s been blessed with a very long stay in our system given he was involved even before draft.
He’d want ’26 to be the breakout year. A nearly year won’t be enough.

Isn’t he contracted for 2027?
I thought they gave him 2 more years during this season?
If so, he’s got one more “nearly year” left in him

Agree with that.

And that is what I meant with HDM - he has no awareness to even run onto his right to create space. Plus his high ball drop makes it a terminal issue

I agree Jen, I was really excited to see him in defence. I think it's his go. Sending him good vibes!

Not player related, looking for new spot for a Derrimut Cafe franchise.
