I suppose it depends on who the Pies send over. MM may well rest a few up before the finals. I predict they will give a couple of blokes who might be carrying niggles the night off and only win by 75.

Doubt it, we saw how the Pies finished the season last year, eerily similar to this year.

They'll probably win this by 6-10 goals depending on the team they send over.

Pies fringe players will be wanting to make a statement ahead of the finals, they at least will be going for broke.

its called dropping into 2nd gear to not get injured before finals... happened last year as well if u remember? r21 barely beat adelaide in a lackluster game and rd 22 lost to hawks for memory yet came out finals at 100%

I put down 132pts for my footytips margin, this was before the 7 outs so god knows now!

Seriously though, I hope for under 60 but reckon 90 might be best case scenario, maybe we can just put numbers behind the ball and limit the damage.

A hiding, yes. But I can't see it being as bad as port or Melbourne. Watch the pies gallop to 10 goal lead and then rest up for the end. They have nothing left to prove.

It would only work with Ballantyne in the ruck, but he is one of those injured.

Might just have to go with something sensible like Clarke in the ruck instead, and Sandi standing on one leg in the goal square.
