Yes yes, Stef is not great with his awareness and vision, when he passed that off to Charlie I was like > no no no no no no noooooo!!!

If Stef has the ball he should have 2 options 1- bomb it long to a contest. 2- handball it off to a player in space. Never never never try any sort of nuanced short kick/handball Stef please. KISS.
Fagan was shown mouthing one option only - "Have a @#~<*^ shot".

The pressure was enormous at that time. Everyone is susceptible to making a wrong decision at times. Berry was responsible for 2 terrible clangers that cost us during the game & missed 2 shots at goal that he probably should have converted. Overall Stef's game was good.

lions v Rocky. I know he is well disliked here, but I'd be happy for him to be runner up this year. Imagine what he could have been if his initial coach was someone like Fagan.
Im probably the only person who still loves him. Honestly everyone else can get ducked as far as I'm concerned. I hope he gets a flag. As long as it doesn't cost our team one. But I'd be stoked if him, maysey and crazy vossy to get it.

Skill errors under pressure are entirely understandable. This was a brain fade from an experienced player. I think his game was OK but as we are no doubt going to stick with the two ruck plan we will probably need more from him if we are to win the premiership. 1 mark and 2 of 19 hitouts to advantage.

He's still rusty. Only 2 games in several weeks . It often takes older players a little time to find their groove after an extended layoff.

We do need a bit more from him but we won't win it without him.

I think Steff didn’t look as good as he normally does cause Big O stole some of his highlights.

the young bull is replacing the old one.

How great to have Fages as our coach during the Finals -so much experience with Hawthorn at managing this pressure cooker time of the year. He would know exactly what to do in terms of managing the hype and keeping everyone grounded.

If you get a chance look at the interview on 360 tonight with Clarko basically talking about himself and what he's done and Fages sitting there totally embarrassed half raising his eyebrows every time Robbo asked another stupid question.

Fages is focused on the future. No hope of us getting ahead of ourselves. If we're good enough we won't fail the hubris test.

$187 for the best wow, that is mental. Hows that compare to previous years, anyone know? Haven't had to look at prelim finals ticket prices in 15 years.
Same price as last year.

Look at it this way
If we lost last week you would have to fork out $93 anyway for this coming week. Then if we win, $0 the next week but have to watch it on TV.
Or pay Airfares + accommodation to Adelaide on top of the $187 for the very keen supporters.

Gee i hope we make the Grand Final as it will be the cheapest anyone from Brisbane will have to pay for tickets ever.
Top price of $422 ($359 conc) is good value for Brisbane residents. Lowest $185 ($157 conc).
Usually i would choke on my cornflakes if asked to pay this type of money for a footy game
However, no overpriced airline tickets and accommodation to pay for.
Then the likelihood of seating at the MCG in the nosebleed seats as possibly have to skimp a bit on ticket category.
Also the additional costs of getting to and from the airports.

Of course Melbourne based club supporters have this advantage every year.

I agree. I also thought he missed two critical times to handball to players running on - think one was Kiddy the other escapes me right now - where we had a real advantage, these resulted in one OOTF the other a clanger and turnover. He needs to realise his limitations at times and it's probably the only time i really get frustrated with him. He should be giving the ball off to those that can kick and make better decisions. Other than that we definitely need him right now.

How Jarrod got mentioned as one of our best in some eyes is astounding. I know its someone's opinion and they are entitled to have one but really....there were 10-12 players ahead of Jarrod in our exciting win against the Tigers. Jarrod is a good player and, like plenty of other young players on our list, has huge potential. His game on Friday night was well below par IMO.

How so? I thought his defensive work and blocking was superb. Had he added those two goals he'd have pushed BOG. His misses were very disappointing though, especially the second when he had Mcstay free in the goal square.

You won’t see me making negative comments about any of our players but I thought the guys coming back from injuries (Harris, Bez and Stef) still have a bit of upside (which is a good thing).

Disagree but thats ok. He turned the ball over twice unnecessarily that cost us in important stages of the game. Like I said in my post, its an opinion that we all have and often different.

Which midfielders didn't turn the ball over at least a couple of times unnecessarily? Lyons was pretty reliable but all the others understandably struggled a bit against very good opposition.

I didn't get the tickets for the richmond game, my son got them.
He couldn't see where you can nominate a category for the seats.
Did anyone choose a category ?

Yep, you can only do it on a web browser though. Doesn't work on the app, which is weird.
