WCE deservedly won tonight, overall they were the bette side on the night. There is an issue however when WC win 90% of the free kick count at their home games. It really seems strange how this can happen. The umpires are basically too gutless and incompetent to make the 'hard' decisions against the Eagles when the heat is really on. The volatile crowd does its job in this regard.

Definently didn't cost us the game, but even 7 said they cost us 3 goals. You know it's bloody obvious when 7 pick up on it.

If your club does not make a formal complaint about the unbelievable horrific umpiring which has changed this game around , then I will be amazed , they were on toast for you the Eagles, with free kicks going insane they have caught up and with umpiring help break the backs of your players, I have never seen anything like this.

It needs investigating this is when the gamblers come to town , I am telling you the rig looks in, to me!

This thread is not putrid, because we will never know if we were good enough because we were robbed of the chance by blatantly poor umpiring. Yes umpires can be poor, but it really reeks when its poor one way all night.

They turned the game. They MAY still of won but they cost is any chance of making a Grand Final. This is not round 2 it a ****ing prelim.

This was 94 prelim bad. The only thing stopping me going mental is knowing we won the flag the year after that disgrace.

Not just the decisions themselves, but the timing of them. Try to imagine how you felt when Shuey got that first free against NDS. How bout the Gibson non mark. Le Cras. Jacobs. Swallow. Then imagine how it would feel if you were on the ground, busting your gut at the time. It's farking soul sapping. And it eliminates the organic contest. Synthetic momentum. Shockers,fan killers that seem to be changing the momentum of alot of games. We don't know what free kicks are anymore.
When the game is in the balance they should be told to put the whistle away unless its obvious!!
How many finals have been poorly umpired this year even in the finals we won this year!
I'm not going to blame the umpires for the loss but far out.
