If the owner and principal of Maplebet (now in administration) was the person in question every VAFA club would be lining up for a refund of their exorbitant affiliation fees as the said character spends most of his waking hours on Big Footy. Not doing anything to dispel my theory that Canada is actually sholly...
Word is the Uni Derby will be played at Uni Oval. Hope it's true for both clubs' sake.
Just watched the tragics at lunch and thought I'd jump on for the first time in a while. Applaud the decision but do query why it has taken so, SKOB were required to move home grounds in 2006 due to the ground not being up to it. The Uni oval has been a disaster for a long period of time. Proximity has meant I have watched almost all of the SKOB games there, most of which have been somewhat ruined by appalling conditions. Given there are so many ovals nearby, its a mystery its taken so long.
Was hoping the Dela could have snuck into the finals to have someone to cheer for but alas no such luck. Trinity would have to be the neutrals choice given their underdog status and heart breaker last year.
Can't see why not.
FWIW all Ammo players from the club they played at, not on $60kWhats home grown mean? You mean not from Mars...........
Understand its not up to Canada's standard, but it's not too shabby this morning.Word is the Uni Derby will be played at Uni Oval. Hope it's true for both clubs' sake.

Sholly moved it because he wants a good outfield for the cricket season. The former captain coach of Uni was a very talented cricketer. Just ask him.http://www.uniblacks.org.au/Home/News/Uni-Oval-given-green-light.aspx
Like the game was ever going to be played anywhere else.
HQ just wanted to save face by making it look like moving the Xavs game wasn't a one off and they "care about the welfare of all players".
Did the VAFA organise an independent ground inspection last week or did they just move it because they chose to?

We asked for a ground change a few years ago in Div 3. Ammos drove past Mt Lilydale ground and said it was ok.A bog heap!6http://www.uniblacks.org.au/Home/News/Uni-Oval-given-green-light.aspx

Get over yourself. Take the view that nothing has changed for Old Xavs since this morning. At that time, they needed to win three games against top 4 teams to win the flag. They still do.Gutted at today's results.
Please nobody come on and give me any grief or stirring. It's just hard enough. Well done Scribe...
