Got the feeling a lot of Haileyburians were offended by some people predicting they wont make the 4. Anyway

Beauy v Roys
Brighton v Scotch
Bedes
v Parky
Monash v Ajax
OH v Hampton

Im a Blood and over a week ago said 4th was wide open, with Bloods certainly in contention for that spot (3 or 4 chasing that spot). I thought that was only finals position open. Dont think anyone would get offended by predicting ladder positions with 2/3rds of year to go.
Someone else mentioned the club was still recovering from whatever recruiting was done leading to 2006 A Grade flag. A dead-set laughable suggestion.
Anywhoo....
In what's seemingly a fairly straight fwd week of tipping, I agree with those tips.
Important game out at Monash this week.

Same tips for me except OH will win. Looking forward to the clash at the Frearson with old rivals Ajax. Brings back memories of 2003 when our current Prez got us past the Jackas in the 2nd semi on willpower alone!

Hampton Rovers defeat Old Haileybury by 28 points to win their first game for 2016. Final score: Hampton Rovers 16.10 (106) def Old Haileybury 11.11 (77).

Great win to the Ashes at home today Keep those four points coming!

And everyone is officially in the race for the 4. #goodforfootball

Did Julian Kirzner play for AJAX today? It's election time after all. JK4PM

Yep good strong showing. Could have won by more. Lot of upside for the Blues as they get experience into the young guys and build fitness. Surprising results leave things wide open in B. I must admit I thought HR were cooked but clearly wrong after today's great result.

Great game of football St bedes V's Parkdale. Disappointing umpires got so involved in the last 5 minutes with some telling decisions. Thought parky were very stiff! As stated before a very open Comp. The season is far from decided. Have witnessed some great games already and only 7 games in.

Very stiff. '' stiff as ten men '' but with a 27 point buffer with 8 minutes left they should have hung on. Credit to SB's for getting on a roll and not giving up, but Vultures inexperience showed out. They have an extremely young list and played some exceptional footy, but as you have mentioned, two crucial blinders by the umps cost them big time. '' Its not when you get them but where '' 2 goals scored.

Watched the last ten minutes. Great comeback by the Tigers but two 50/50 decisions went against Parkdale in the last minute, which ultimately cost them. Very stiff. The mark to the Parkdale bloke would be paid most times, just as the one to Robbo probably would not. Umps make mistakes just like the players but the biggest howler was the poor Parkdale bloke who turned it over by foot with less than 2 minutes on the clock. If they keep possession they other 2 events don’t happen.

If the situation were reversed I reckon the St Bedes crowd would have torn down the grandstand!

Truer word was never spoken. Still think the current top 3 are locks for top 3 at year end. The final spot could literally go to anyone now.
Having now seen all sides apart from Fitzroy and Brighton, I'm thinking there are two standouts at the top. The Tigers appear to be the best of the rest. The rest look to be a week to week lottery. Great chance for a club to put together some consistent performances, win 3 or 4 on the trot and set up a finals berth.

Yeah good summary BTL, the Parky bloke who turned it over will be feeling pretty down, he had the option to go back behind to a free player but maybe didn't here him or take enough time to decide, but it should not have got to that. Great game though.

Roys too good today. Couple of nice players in their ranks. Monash gave nothing much in the first half. Got some system in the third to get back in the game but that was it. Few interesting critters around the ground, could learn better manners.

I live on the neutral side Bob and only had a look because I was told about the fantastic St Bedes comeback. Was just my observation but to me Parkdale were very stiff. However as I pointed out a player mistake created those opportunities.

I also believe that over the course of a game or a season these things tend to even out.

Inspiring come from behind win to the home side at the Frearson today. Full of character, would have been nice to see some of that last week at Fitzroy! Debutant Nick Mcconville looks a beauty, smashed in and made a difference - great to see from an 18 year old kid. Easson again good.
Umpires may have aided the Monash cause slightly in the last term! Nick petering kicked 4 in the quarter to seal the deal.

Fitzroy look like the ones to beat for 4th spot look more and more likely that they will be able to challenge the top 3??
