Always hard to successful when the tail wags the dog.And has Marcellin dropped its bundle? Too many coaching changes and not enough indians??
The coach needs to control his emotions a little in front of the crowd and his players. Also needs to stop yelling at umpires and be a bit more reserved to set an example in front of his playersAlways hard to successful when the tail wags the dog.
Fair call. Unfortunately, prior to being appointed Senior Coach, DT had a year off and was reserves coach for one season before that - not much coaching experience to draw from. The coach needs to control his emotions a little in front of the crowd and his players. Why was he appointed Peptide? The only candidate to put his hand up?Fair call. Unfortunately, prior to being appointed Senior Coach, DT had a year off and was reserves coach for one season before that - not much coaching experience to draw from.
Hey Rissoles, could you also paste a screen shot of the tipping ladder. No access allowed to link from my work PC. Thanks
Not at all. Club wanted a Marcellin person and believed that with a passionate coach + talent that the step to B grade would have just happened. I understand (From memory) that there were a number of experienced candidates - I know two personally. Why was he appointed Peptide? The only candidate to put his hand up?
Agree DT is a bit of a nut job.Not at all. Club wanted a Marcellin person and believed that with a passionate coach + talent that the step to B grade would have just happened. I understand (From memory) that there were a number of experienced candidates - I know two personally.
The process was a smokescreen - DT was headhunted to the position. Can't pot him at all as his loyalty to the club would have been a massive part of accepting the job - would also have been promised all the support he required.
Smokescreen....Wonder why??? Promise everything and then when things don't turn out as they should be people in high positions want things done differently...DT Is a fantastic passionate person but seriously don think he was right fit for the job..Not at all. Should have lost by 8 goals on the weekend Caulfield missed lots of easy shots as they did in round 1Agree DT is a bit of a nut job.
However
To date Marcellin has played 3 of the 4 top teams.
Lost 2 of the by less than 2 kicks.
Used 30 players
If it wasn't for injuries (imo) would have beaten OI.
Lets see in the coming weeks when they play Oakleigh, OC and Willy. If they are 0-6 then the drums will definitely be beating.

Agreed, but that's a committee error, not DT's. They were happy, in fact eager to appoint his passion, not his experience (or lack of).Smokescreen....Wonder why??? If DT had genuine senior experience - regardless of where - or two-three years as reserves coach then it would be a completely different person in control.
It may still work out and he could be a 5-10 year coach - but the committee really needs to take some heat on this one if it doesn't pan out.
Correct - the one voice they listen to without question.Totally agree, the problem is that its not the committee...It may be certain influential people that make the decisions not the committee..
Please stop embarrassing Bedford, Riss.

Nodders are killing them at the minute - surprise to all, even them!! Haven't seen any games myself, can someone please enlighten me on how they look??
He was going to assist, but has had some very serious family responsibilities to look after. What happened to Cox at Marcellin? When he left Carey after 1 year, I'd heard he was coaching or at least assisting back at Marcellin? Did this fall over?
A couple of bounces away from being level with Max "we were lucky again" LeaderPlease stop embarrassing Bedford, Riss.![]()

Must be related to AitkenWhen a supporter use to stand on purpose next to opposition coaches box and yell abuse at opposition players. Didn't shut up the entire game.
Great to see he is struggling with his coaching abilities and definitely hasn't lost his ability to incite opposition supporters.
