Round 10
Mazenod
Williamstown
Caulfield
Peninsula
Ivanhoe

Good luck to all

How I see teams at the half way mark

1&2
Mazenod and Caulfield Caulfield more impressive
3&4
Peninula, Ivanhoe - both need to be careful of 5&6
4&6
kew and Williamstown - either could take a place above
7&8
Camberwell, Oakleigh, if they got on a roll could finish higher up but not sure on this.
9&10
Ormond and Marcellin,

Bald Bernie is a legend of the club, and no its not him - we are all his biggest fans. By the way, he received an OAM on Monday and was thoroughly deserved based on his contribution to Medicine, Mens Health and the community.

The man with the trigger has had a conflict of interest for years and should not have the power that he does.
About time someone else agreed with me, Ive been on about this for quite a while now...

"Those in charge" (which is one person who controls all decisions) were extremely keen to appoint a coach who had zero senior coaching experience and only one season of reserves coaching. The belief was that passion alone would drive them up the grades.

Only one person to blame and he should recuse himself from all further involvement. BTW he appointed the past three coaches . . .
HERE , HERE....

You would think that someone would have the b**** to front this individual and say look enough is enough we are going down another path and unfortunately you aren't a part of it. But he has them bluffed that he knows all the Rights and wrongs of an Amateur football club. He Can do this as its all voluntary. Wonder how long he would last in the EFL???

Who is it?
Name and shame!

It's obviously Carlson

Yes Lethal Leigh. I was just curious as to whether he would be named.
All applicants have had to apply to his directorship over recent years.
Don't know much about the process, but seems many are upset. Interesting to see what happens moving forward.

What about you not commentating on coaches.
NODDERS EASY
WILLY EASY
FIELDS EASY
PIRATES EASY

I'm pretty sure everyone other than you bedders finds the situation at Marcellin interesting. It is a c grade forum. Try being a little happier champ.

Not when I have to put up with your good selfs shit on Spaz

Fortunately you will be on the D Grade thread next year and will not have to read any of my coaching contributions. Win/Win (or for Ormond most likely loss/loss)

I can go on any thread I like mate, like your good self does.
The Pirates spread yesterday was outstanding and only for some selfish efforts in front of goal , it could have been an 100 point drubbing.
I'm sure Rissoles will agree with me that the day was a shambles with the Reserves playing a few K's away and nobody having the keys to get in a change room the size of a king size bed. Also the main oval for a school ground was terrible, yes we've had a bit of rain, but to have areas of sand with big holes as it shifted.
I still think the Pirates are going to be hard to beat if they are allowed to play as they like.

I've heard the ground is average. Why did the reserves play down the road?

Because a Camberwell school side didn't have a ground so it was transferred to Peninsula, it was finished by 12.30, so why couldn't that go down the road I don't know. But it's unacceptable and maybe in the future the home side might just have to play away. Good win by your boys Richo, certainly going better than us, we just can't get players back from injury, with some expected back, but are now done for the year. But we haven't given up, got back in to it in the third yesterday with 4 straight, but they were just too good.

One of our players did their knee in the sand on their seconds ground.

Crap ground, and lazy councils for not looking after the ground correctly.

Peninsula's main oval is bad at best. Again lazy curator for using sand as the basis of covering cricket pitches or filling holes.

I really hope the idiocy being posted over the Kew coach is now dead and done. People will have opinions, but i think we've had enough of them.
Can we move on (as many previous posters have asked) to actually discuss what is going on in C grade this year.

Final 4:
Nodders. There doesn't seem to be any Nodders on here so hard to argue 9 zip. Can they go undefeated?
Blue and Whites. Unlucky to lose to OI after leading all game, what are they missing to go the next step
OI. 3-4 winds by under a goal. Lucky or well coached? I tend to think well coached cause you cant be lucky that many times
Pirates. Up and down and prob most vunerable in 4

Only Kew and Willy can dislodge, and i dont want to ask who is better cause that will encourage crap comments about their coaches

On the drop.

When is the last time Marcellin dropped to D?
I cant separate the bottom 4 and on their day can challenge top 4.
Any insights as to whats going on at those clubs?

Amo (hoping to encourage conversation across the grade) Footyfan
Finally some sense on this site thanks and some constructive comments / opinion without the other rubbish.

Game of the season Nodders v Caulfield in two weeks . Caulfield have been ravaged with injuries over past three weeks (8 out yesterday ) but still managed two out of three wins.

Find Peninsula difficult to rate .. Caulfield beat them comfortably with key players out .

Kew looks like best side out of 4

Marcellin are a rabble .

You definitely looked undermanned, Bedford, with a couple of players looking very young and small. Chisolm's performance was a standout kicking 8 of your 12 goals. Our forward structure and play was an embarrassment and many of the 26 points kicked came from easy misses.

I agree the day was a shambles. The Club had organised their President's Lunch for this day which was badly affected by having the Reserves game elsewhere. I have said repeatedly that Peninsula's ground is too small and has not been rejuvenated for several years. I sincerely hope that the decision to relocated the Pirates to a much better complex not far away becomes a reality this year after several years of highlighting the problem and doing absolutely nothing about it.

Bigger grounds suit the Pirates style of play and speed. It's emphasised by the fact that Peninsula's 3 losses this year have all been at home.

That would be the big advantage of dropping. However, you spread yourself over so many grades the chances are you'll stick your oar in there too.

You being such a self proclaimed authority on everything it must be awfully hard not to get a swollen head.

I have never seen myself as an authority. Interesting observation.
I do like to throw up some theories from time to time. Beaser bashing and smiley faces are great but helps when a theory or two are slapped.
Seems some poor kicking saved Old Ivanhoe from a really big Bear drubbing. Hopefully Beaser gets them practicing their shots at goal this week. Wouldn't have to be genius to think of that...

Oh I do think you regard yourself as an authority. Just read your comment in another thread about a team I doubt you've seen much if at all.

You also spend an inordinate amount of time trolling people. One in particular. Quite deftly in must be said, but non-the-less still trolling.

Seen plenty of Scotch. Don't think they are as hard at it as Beauy or Bedes. Can't imagine anyone does. Fast, young, skilful, but not as hard.
Just because you may have no knowledge or opinion on the merits of the three top teams in B, doesn't means others don't.

Have you asked yourself, Canada, why the biggest junior football club In Kew located at Victoria Park has nothing to do with said VAFA coach?
They've had to endure two weird units in recent years - first Ricky Nixon and then your bloke.
