Bit like Stranadica it's really hard to gage tall talent in state league. You find a heap of quality mid that have ended up transitioning to AFL level. Can't think of any tall players in their mid 20's thats gone on to be successful at AFL level. AT WAFL he'll match up against a lot of mediocre undersized key backs that he's clearly too good for. At the next level he's gonna come against 2m talls that are as agile, and fast as him.

Ben Brown, Tom Stewart, Harry Taylor are the standout over-agers, noting that really only Stewart was in the mid 20's bracket you mentioned.

I'm sure there are some who would have made it but never got the opportunity (due to attitude, or timing, etc etc). The risk/reward for Keitel in the SSP (with our tall forward issues) adds up pretty well.

Brown and Taylor were still quite young then. Stewart isn't a key tall either. I think for the 6 months contract with the circumstances justified his selection but I can't see him making it. He reminds me of Subi boy in the sense he his talent alone is too good for WAFL footy but as a player limited to AFL footy.

Joyce is a solid lad he had a few contests with Yeo. Early in the video he break a Yeo tackle and get a clean handpass over congestion to a clear redden and an open 50. Not sure we'll go with a mid but we really don't have many young depth pure inside mids except fr Clark(not that young) or trew(probs delist material).

Anyone able to confirm that this trial game on Friday arvo is only available on Kayo? Annoying if so as I don’t have an account. Might have to hit up the free trial.

Would have thought it would be on Fox Footy too if it is being shown on Kayo.

Judging by this article, the practice games are exclusive to Kayo but the AAMI series will be shown on Fox as well as Kayo.

I just checked the Fox TV guide and it's definitely not on. Pretty annoyed about that.
