I have to say, our forward entries still need a lot of work.

We are now using a pool noodle to whack the forwards when they are engaged in a one on one marking contest.

Gaff just hit NicNat on a great lead and then we hit up our forwards a lot better.

I didn't see as I was typing sorry. They only did it once and then went back to full field work.

Second notes.

Drill intensity stepping up a bit. Good tackle by lecca. That was most intense drill I've seen at training, but I've only been before Xmas before.

End of drill.

But if goal kicking practice now. Just set shots. Few running shots too. Dom nails his, he has trained really well. That drill didn't last long.

New drill - kicking to leads or kicking long to Kennedy, McInness Tunbridge. Using a pool noodle to simulate punching defenders. Cripps up there now.

Bit of centre clearance work in another group. Lycett nicely down to the shue. Sharrod has seemed a bit tentative today. Other guys like masto Priddis, gaff involved in the drill.

Running it out of defense in the third group.

End of drills. They've been going for a hour and a half now.

Full ground drill now. Sheed impressing. Lucas getting called "shoogs" - short for sugar - he's doing ok. Tunbridge again playing forward. Good mark by McInnes. Nice run from gaff.
McGinnity just ironed out Lucas, wasn't massive hit but big for training. Nice mark and goal by Lycett.
Hill has been pretty good today.

More goal kicking for a minute or two. Now players heading up the race.
