Banter is fine, but dismissing an opponent is usually frowned upon.

Banter is fine, as are witty responses. Being an arrogant flog before you've even done anything makes you look like an assclown.

I'm thinking that Patrenko will be given a stopping job on Sunday, probably on Stevenson or maybe Pittard. Stevenson gives us a lot of run out of defence, and sets up our forward play. GWS didn't man him up closely, and he hurt them on the rebound. I don't think Adelaide will give him the same amount of freedom.

And it's good to see Hartlett spending less time time in defence. You can afford to play him more as a midfielder when you've got players like Stevenson and Pittard who can run and carry the ball out of defence, and hit targets up field.

Doubt it. Redden was rightfully dropped. Didn't show anything for his two games. So if Renouf shows nothing, it will be like for like at worst.

I assume Mitchell is sub again? I'm just going on the interchange bench names... Even after 2 games I think Ollie wines is too important to the balance of that midfield to be a sub. Maybe Heath? but the sub is usually there for an attacking impact, shift pittard up the ground and put heath on the back flank maybe. Though he trains the house down, 3 weeks of Mitchell being sub must do something negative for your fitness vs the rest of the squad

i was also of the opinion to give mitchell a full run soon as he has earned it but others have pointed out we play gc next week and with mitchell's fitness, work at training and in-game workrate being sub for one more week wont hurt him. his ability to come on and get into a game quickly could be important for us against the crows. if he plays well can get a full run against gc.
