I think the ump was ready to blow a free kick if #12 got thrown to ground, but let it go when the players separated

Can only imagine the free was for something off camera. If it was for something said to the ump surely mark would be where the offending player was or location of the ball (i.e. on the boundary line)?

Apparently the free was given for dissent after multiple Magpies players blew up when a free wasn't given for that muel kick trip.

Extremely important though that we have people who want to learn it, master it and most importantly not chuck it in after a year or two due to abuse, public criticism etc.

Otherwise we'll be dealing with thought bubbles like 'arms out is 50 mate' for a long time to come

Can open the cheque book to get Fev up for the weekend but can’t seem to pay the hot water bill [emoji57] bit of a tongue in cheek comment but an area which Noosa probably needs to address for their comp sustainability. The away changerooms are on par with Sandgate of old - really not asking for much but some amenities funding is hopefully on the agenda for FY23

SMY hard to judge crowd as a heap around the ground in and out of cars. But it was a very healthy crowd with all the terraces full. Reckon at a guess somewhere 800-1,000 but could be few hundred out either way.

Great atmosphere up there.

Yes guys really solid crowd as usual.Morningside as SM said totally deserved their win.Great finish.
And as for the cheque book for Fev please stop it until you know what you are talking about.And as for our facilities we have a plan in place for that but unfortunately the change in federal govt may make that a bit harder to get.
And please don’t worry about our sustainability in this comp.We we’re not ready in 2021 when a lot of this forum disagreed but we will be fine!Hard working off field and hoping to be hard as on it!
 
Were there election promises made?

Not that they're worth the paper they're written on. The recently departed government especially had a great knack of promising things that seemed to vanish after the photo op

they do it well up there. The speakers aren't getting big $, as I understand it - they are invited up to speak and in return get great hospitality and a nice weekend in Noosa with the keys to the city provided by the many great backers of the Tigers.

Their luncheons at all home games are generally better than a one off luncheon at another club and they have them every home game, they are fantastic and would be a revenue generator, not a cost!

well done to them, they have a great product to sell and they sell it well.

Correct on all points - plus the occasional added extra of having NB host the lunch and put questions forward as the interviewee - that adds $10 to the purchase price as well... :)
