Out of interest, Dougal Howard became the second man to record a Defensive Triple Double on the weekend.

16 one-percenters, 13 intercepts, 10 R50s against Adelaide.

Interestingly, the other player to achieve it - Robbie Tarrant, also did it in a loss.

I know it's not the same as the Quadruple Double, but given this has been done just twice now, there's still hope for us!!!

Taranto? Never would’ve guessed him personally

Taranto looking to be the second after Bartel to only fall short by handballs

Honestly I'd give them a triple double for possessions/marks/tackles because it feels like we're selling the two of them short given handballs are the cheapest and most irrelevant of the four.

Carey fell short by one handball on a quadruple double.

22 kicks, 9 handballs, 15 marks, 11 goals.

Yes goals should be substitutable for tackles, especially if you have an additional 10+ kicks.

Scott Pendlebury seems to enjoy playing Essendon. Has gotten close a few times against them.
