Chris Guccione has again qualfied for the main draw.Thats good news for australian tennis.Todd Reid was knocked out in the final rounds of qualifying.Lleyton is the top seed

Ah, the "Champions Trophy" of Tennis.
Federer's not in it I presume?..I guess he's playing Rotterdam or whatever that other lead-in grass tournament is.

Guccione could ride his serve to a couple of wins.
Reid is a bust.

Federer is playing in Germany this week.

Beck over Arthurs in straight sets
Guccione in three sets against Vliegen
Draper down to Hanescu in three sets

Good win by Guccine today.He is erratic but he has a good serve and volley game.I think he can a threat on the grass and hardcourts.If a dud like Karlovic can be a solid grass court player guccione can do better.Vliegen, a top 100 player only had 1 break points against guccione while guccione had 9.Poo/Hewitt won their doubles match against Leach/Parrott, good win against a top team

Guccione went down to Henman 6-7, 6-2, 6-2

Hewitt won also despite going to sleep in the 2nd, 6-3, 1-6, 6-1

Henman and Hewitt are both through to the qtr finals and will meet in the semis should they win their quarters
