Well looks like demon using all his luck up now, he will now most likely lose round 1. Would have been better off going in with some losses and something to work on as opposed to been over confident and thinking he has nothing to work on

If he can't get through qualies he is.
Not sure if he is planning on playing doubles, never been his forte.
He said in his post match interview today, he is retiring at the AO but hopefully not in the qualies. So this is it for him whether he gets into the main draw or not.

Alex's biggest improvement is he's no longer relying on baseline rallies to win points which was his one wood he's now finding other ways
Reckon Alex won't be too happy at Adam Peacock asking Alex if he's thinking about closing out the match when he was at 4-1 haha

Yeah but in interviews after matches he’s guna get questions similar, he needs to beat those Demons inside his head

Another win for De Minaur. Cannot see him being beaten easily at the AO. It is going to take something special.
Reckon the penny has finally drop it started with him beating Rafa at the United Cup last year imo

Unsure if that was the start or when he got demolished by Djokovic last year. That would have given him some motivation to improve.

Lol I always believed he had the game and speed to do it but he just had to start believing and now he has confidence in his game it’s like he can’t be stopped
So after Ostapenko took an injury break, gosh she does that all the time, it is very annoying, she downs Garcia in three. Her tennis outfit is horrible.
I watched a bit of Kooyong today on SBS, and after Rune won he did an interview in the booth and he spoke really well and gave some insightful answers. I was really impressed with him and he spoke about how he has hired Roger's old coach.
