My bad, didn't notice the TrueType file extension at the end.

I think this is the right place for this and sorry if it has been brought up but there is a baseball team in America called the Gold Coast Suns.
Here is there logo- http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=5839

How can the Gold Coast copy their exact name?

Yeah they lasted from 1989-1989 they have Folded 21 Years Ago i doubt they would have problems.

Hey GG can you link this thread in your Board Guidelines thread??

Now on to the question I actually want to ask...What do you guys think of the Aussie Cricket warm up tops??
I dont mind them. Nothing special but not horrible either.

If you dont know what they are, they are the greyey-blue and orange tops you see the boys wearing. Haddin was wearing it after the game tonight.

While we are on what the Aussie Cricket team wears, I think they should wear mostly gold kits at home and away.

I noticed the stripes, numbers et al have changed from metallic gold to regular gold/yellow. Much easier to see now. Also enhances the green.

Return to gold shirts would be great but it's just the bloody Commonwealth Bank logo forcing us to wear green. And we should never, EVER wear blue.

Ideally I think the darker the skin colour, the lighter the shirts should be. I was just considering the main colours each team should wear, and it struck me that each should have a clash strip, for when two nations of the same colour would meet. E.g.:

Pakistan v Kenya. Both are lime green - if playing each other, either Pakistan wears bottle green, or Kenya wears red.
Bangladesh v South Africa. Either Banglas wear red, or South Africa wears gold

Not advocating dark/light clashes, because that's unnecessary in cricket (no man-on-man play), but just basic clashes.

hey guys, new to photoshopping and was just wondering if anyone has any GIMP templates for me to use?

Blue and orange warm-up kits look way too much like India IMO.

They were actually the Indian light-blue when they came out here a few years ago, too.

I don't mind them, something a little interesting.

I agree with Omegaville - a lot of green teams. The Paki's wore dark green here last year, remember - only recently did they change back to light green.
Pakistan+v+Australia_2nd_ODI.jpg

I saw a Classic 96-7 ODI on Fox the other day, Pakistan were wearing a blue/green ensemble (with red numbers!) including a blue helmet. This was the era we mentioned on the other thread where the travelling teams conformed with the ISC halp-stripy design of Australia/domestic teams.

But then again, there's a lot of blue teams.

They way it works now is ok, as long as they stick with the right shades so it doesnt look too ridiculous when playing each other:

Green:
Australia (Dark)
South Africa (Middle)
Bangladesh (Middle)
Pakistan (Light/Lime)

Blue:
England (Dark/Navy)
Sri Lanka (Royal)
India (Skyish)

Other:
NZ (Black)
Windies (Maroon)

Only one I'd change is Bangas to dark green and Aussies to Canary Yellow :p (inc. helmets)

West Indies in maroon looks wrong... doesn't go with their skin tone. I prefer the days when WI wore predominantly grey, e.g. 1988-89, 1991-92, 1992-93. Given that NZ have gone from grey to black, grey is now free for WI.

Netherlands wearing orange = awesome. :)
