My Mum bought an "Essendon Nursery Pack" from the online Bomber Shop for her first grandchild, that my wife and I are expecting in the next week or two. I did a massive double-take when I opened it up and saw the comfortor. Bubs is gonna be mighty confused when he/she learns how to read....



It's bad enough that my wife is a Hawthorn supporter..

Anzac Day tickets go on sale March 27th.

So I guess that is when I'll be getting mine, aswell for round 2 vs Demons

I did find cheap flights, but the two mates I'm going with delayed me for a few months and I ended up having to fork over $100 more than I could've.

They're all pretty pricey at the moment.

Spoke with Nick O'Brien today at training. He wanted to thank us all who has sponsored him for 2013. He really appreciates it. Was surprised when I told him, but the big smile on his face when he found out

Too late mate, we all chipped in an amount, minimum $20 I think, the more we got people to donate, the more players we sponsor. After a while, we transferred the money over to someone reliable who then took it into the club to pay. After a short while later, we all got shiny badges

Basically, it's an opportunity to sponsor a player/s, and in return, you get the badges you will have seen on the profile of quite a few posters.

You also get the opportunity to enter a draw to win tickets to attend a player sponsors function on the 20th of May, and also the opportunity to win a signed player photo.

Donations can be made in $25 increments- every increment gets you an extra entry in the draws. So for example, if you donate $25 you get one entry, if you donate $75 you get three, and so on.

We've ended up raising $2935, which is $235 over the amount needed to sponsor four players ($675 per player). I am unsure if it is too late now to add to it- I will make an enquiry on your behalf if you want. Let me know.

In any event, any donation you make will go towards next year's total, as we already have enough for this year.
