Official Club Stuff Questions/suggestions for RFC_Official (part 2)

Hi Stig,

Just a quick one on the "rolling membership" or committed tiger as they called it in text I received IIRC. When exactly did we agree to automatically renew our memberships and have our accounts direct debited with only 2 days notice? I'm personally not affected by it but I know fellow tiger supporters that are pretty filthy with the club for doing this.

I know when you pay online you can select committed as an option. Also memberships have been available for a month so I have had a months notice to change or cancel it. If you paid via phone or membership package it would have been an option you selected one of your previous years. This text is the final notification that it's happening to give you a chance to change it, actually very good business practise and one I completely support.

The rolling tiger package means that you just keep paying, monthly. It ends at the end of your season but we do let you know in advance that it is coming again, we sent out an email a few weeks ago and then a text on Friday. If you didnt have either, we sent you it via mail.

Young bloke might be a bit sheepish around Knights for a while! (who by the way did a top job interviewing that crazy surfer. Also fair to say if his lower body is a cut as his arms he'll be flying next year.)

this is pretty pedantic but also easy to fix.

i noticed on the redevelopment project sign on punt rd that it still has the old logo on it. send the work experience boy over and whack a sticker with the new logo over it.

That sign is property of the government and placing a sticker on it would be considered vandalism. Even if it was to update the Richmond logo, it's not allowed to be touched.

The next day, a van labeled "Ordinary Van" is parked outside the MCG. Stig and Greenberg are inside. Greenberg and Adrian Ceddia hold up a large hat with an obviously visible camera inside.

GREENBERG: We've come up with a camera so tiny, it fits into this oversized novelty hat.

They put it on Stig's head. He struggles to stand upright under the weight.

GREENBERG: Now, go get us some awesome footage, and remember: you have to get in and out in ten minutes, or you'll suffer permanent neck damage.

Brett Deledio with his head bent sideways at right angles appears.

LIDS: He's not kiddin'.

Stig enters the change rooms, unable to walk straight because of the hat. Dimma looks confused as he slowly makes his way to players meeting.

DIMMA: Ooh?

STIG: Don't be alarmed, Dimma. Just go about your pre-game routine like I'm not wearing the hat.

DIMMA: Your headgear seems to be emitting a buzzing noise, sir. Perhaps you have a bee in your bonnet?

STIG: Bee? Aah!

Stig throws the hat on the floor and screams, stomps on it and runs out of the change rooms still screaming.

Question, the Vic Country membership, do you have to live more than 100km's from the CBD, I live 94km's away from the CBD.

I dont even know why that sign is still there...its been there since 2008 and the ME Bank Centre redevelopments are done.

That sign also mentions the oval works and community facilities as well, so it`s still relevant.

Unfortunately yes, and it's 120km's. AFL rules.

Noticed on 3AW breakfast show this week they are running a promotion for Tiger Airways, where they play at random times elements of our club song to get you to ring in for some kind of prize.

I imagine that we have no ownership rights to the song whatsoever - if anthing maybe the afl, so more likely jack malcolmson who wrote it.

The redevelopment of Punt Road in its current form was only agreed upon mid-this year, in 2008 it would have only been a pipe dream, the cricket club hadnt agreed to move for example.

Yep the community gym is finished, been in use for a while.

We rent it out to to certain groups (not sure who), as well as Coburg and internal use.
