Thanks. Without going over old ground, to make an example of my point, if l want information about any of our players, the last place l actually go is the RFC website. If Richmond are trying to market themselves to those outside Melbourne, their website is the most tangible valuable thing it can offer its members. The fact that l go to footywire or other places for information is weird, particularly considering l pay them nothing.

The reason l went to the players page is because the first thing l wanted to see was how do each of our new players look in a Richmond jumper. Call me a "cuddler", call me anything you like... but... could l find a picture of Chris Knights in a Richmond jumper? Nope.

As a Global Head of HR... the first thing that most employers do when somoeone joins... it take a photo of them as part of their induction (usually for security purposes, but also to go up on staff Intranet). These things are simple, someone called them pedantic, but they are easy wins in making us look more slick and providing information to our members.

Still nothing. Ridiculous.

Serious, l'd do a better job of whoever runs your marketing / business development and l'd do it for nothing. Whoever at Richmond has responsibility for looking after our website, they should be fired instantly... they would anywhere else. What a cushy job they have.

Hope you enjoy the new richmondfc.com.au we've been working on. You will notice some player profiles also dont have headshots of the new players, AFL have advised us to wait until all players get their headshots in Jan.

Not to dismiss what you have said but there have been a number of comments in this thread about how the website will be updated and allow greater access to information for fans.

To dismiss what you said, that we have someone on this forum from Richmond to answer our questions and provide us information is a privilege, your attitude is appalling, particularly for someone who by his own admission is in a senior HR position. Now maybe with your highly important job you don't have time to read the responses in this thread to find the answer that has already been given, or maybe you should hire someone to do it for you, but right now you look like an ass.

Edit: Stig has a lot more patience than me.

1) as a senior hr person, how could you fire Stig instantly? He's entitled to his three warning letters remember ;)

2) every company I've worked on (from family owned to one of the largest on the planet) had hr people that were good at hr, but we're never let loose in the marketing division or the sales division. Just because you hire someone for the role doesn't mean you know how to do it.

I would have thought a Global Head of HR would know you cannot fire people instantly without serious grounds to do so. In this case, if you read the posts in this thread, there are no such grounds. And a Global Head of HR would know better not to criticize a person's job performance in such a public forum.

You need to understand the relationship between the Club's, the AFL and contracted service providers for platforms such as the website and digital media generally. All clubs, and I believe Essendon were stand alone but are now on the Telstra arrangement, must go through an AFL gatekeeper arrangement to edit website content. It's part of the licensing arrangement for each club and it's why the AFL packages and sells its digital media and content rights for $150million over 5 years. Heck the AFL even own the copyright for our logo and we cannot change that without permission!

Given the AFL are currently changing their website infrastructure, then all clubs cannot individually edit content efficiently until the AFL get things right. To date they are having challenges, but it's better to transition now than in March 2013.

Let's have some patience here people. We never had Stig two years ago and we've come a heck of a long way. All the interaction stats prove that Stig has been absolutely on fire!

And while we're at it, our Business Development (or Corporate Development as its structured at the Club) produced record sponsorship and corporate sales revenue for the Club in 2012, and for the first time in ages we've had both major jumper partners extend their contracts, so good luck doing a better job than them.

hmmm, that usually means you've about to be assigned to "special projects". Is AC looking at life now as the summer host of Talking Tigers, animal documentaries, and hosting the infomercial flogging the Jake King grill?

He didnt want to go to Cairns, when you travel 8/9 times a year with the team going away from your family for 10 days isnt ideal. Send the young whipper snappers.
