next week

based on last nights performance could the dockers beat richmond next week if they played the same way? i would be interested to know peoples opinion on that.
on a side note i feel for andrew browne come on mate just one goal then hopefully you will get some momentum going!

We at last have the secret weapon for Richo! Polly.

Encouraged by the fact that we beat sydney without playing that well overall. The addition of DJ has been a bonus as Kirk was assigned to tag him but that left Haze to run amok. Have the tiges got the players to tag Haze , Dj ETC and who will the match up on PAV?

This one is winnable.

In short yes, we have to be a pretty good chance against richmond next week. We are going to win away at some stage and this will be an oportunity for us to do that.

Croady back and Jlo with another game under his belt will bolster the forward line.

Richo had a day out last year when we played them in Melbourne even giving Pav a bath. Polack may be the man to keep him quiet. But as always winning out of the middle is the key, we cant afford cookie to go missing like he did in Adelaide, his input yesterday was invaluable.

The Dockers must play better than last night, take all the opportunities when given (goals not points).

Don't worry about Richo, be positive and attack from the centre, then they chase us and have to change their plans.

Croad back in, Cookie got his grunt back (who made him cut his hair!!), Hedland due for a ball burster, JLo better for the run and those two "slow" players in the middle (Haz & Bell), we can only get better.

Agree with all that.

One positive from last night was the style of play. And that was straight up the guts. NO chipping the the wings/flanks.

We have to start away games sooner or later and this would be a great week to start. We are a good chance if we play near our best but if Tigers get a few early goals and some confidence, it could go terribly wrong. Richmond will be confident after a good win today against the Bulldogs. I'd be more confident if we had Parker in the side.

Not to mention next week Croad , Koops & Seigert are ready to roll

It was a good sign that overall IMO I thought we played better V the Crows , Deep down CC will be angry with aspects of the performance & be pleased on others , players like DJ Headland will be angry with there own personal performance.

As much as you don't like seeing players get injured, this is a huge break for us. We have to win now if we are to do anything this season.

Sorry about Richo - Were are a chance now .. but still not underestimating the Tiges 19th player on the field - the crowd I the Tiges get their tales up early & the crowd get going it could be hard

I hope we dont get over confident. In the past , the Tiges have straightened up without Richo and sometimes they have looked like a much better unit.

Saying that, he always stars against us.

Richo always has a blinder against us and with Parker not playing I was beginning to wonder who we could play on him. With Richo and Ottens out (two players who always seem to step up against us) this is a big chance for us to win an away game.

U guys are a real chance against us this week without Richo and Ottens. Zantuck also in some doubt with a corky but should play.

If you guys can't win away this week i don't know when you will.
I still give us a chance of winning and should be a close game.

The best side on the day will win.

Too right, the problem is our best is always left behind at the airport when we travel east. With the outs for Richmond (without forgetting we still have a few important outs) we have to give ourselves a real chance but it will still take quite a lift in our away form
