I've already got a laptop but mine requires a cooler and my Charging cord because of the shit battery

It will be against government policy for them not too soon, well in Victoria anyway, they're supposed to get them out of the budget provided to them by the government but schools (and private schools) in areas where the average income is higher usually get Macs and have the students pay for them.

Do you live in the Australian equivalent of Milton Keynes, SkyHighPie?

I was in History a few weeks ago. I never used a laptop for every single class. One of the last of old school, you see. Anyway, this year 9 bloke was sitting there (as he was sent to upper school) playing Need for Speed on his macbook... Doesn't everyone just want to do this?

Let's just say I'm just about the only guy in my class who actually does work.

I don't want to ues laptops in school. Apparently our school are introducing macbooks for the year 12's next year, and personally I don't want a bar of it (rest of the school have them already). The year that you do the most writing, where you need to practise long periods of handwriting, and they want to dish out laptops. I already have my own one, and I'm terrible with distractions. And for subjects like Literature and Media it will be packed away anyway. No thanks.
 
I play pokemon on my phone in english :p Seriously, I do no work at school and still get As ;)

Well, I have Pokemon Green, Blue, Red, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Crystal and trading card game ;) Big selection :D

Dunno what phone you've got but mine's just a piece of shit $80 Nokia. Go to www.mobile9.com and then select your phone type and search for pokemon. There should be heaps of different ones but I managed to get one with all those in one :) May not work the same with newer phones but my brother just got a new Samsung Nexus which has Android and he managed to get a free GBC, GBA and even N64 emulator just off the marketplace I think. Don't think he has yet, but I imagine he will easily be able to get pokemon on that too :p
 
Ok, thanks mate. I wanna play a pokemon-type game on my iPhone without jailbreaking. I found a game that is really similar, but the reviews say that it's full of bugs.
 
Yeah, I'm not sure. Maybe just try looking for a GBC or GBA emulator on there then? As I said, my brother managed to find one for free on his Samsung so surely there'll be something similar for the iphone.

The iPhone software is so closed it's not funny. I actually doubt that something like that would be available unfortunately
