There’s so much going on that you can watch it twice and catch stuff you missed the first time. It’s different from his usual stand up but perfect for 2020. It’s basically common sense, but funny and clever

Not one single top of the game world champion in sports where power is necessary is a vegan. None. If being a vegan was at all beneficial they’d all be vegan. But they aren’t because it’s not. The best they have is some steroid munching German who only turned vegan in 2011 after he already had his gains.

Just look at the last view pages and ask again who is attacking vegans (again, not a vegan here)... Most of those people are just trying to do something good, and should be commended for it and not judged.

And don't start again with how many animals farming veggies kills, that is hilarious. Farming animal protein (especially red meat) the traditional way is not sustainable, if you don't believe me look at the share prices of companies doing faux or lab-grown meat now. Some people just like to live in the past and not deal with the consequences of our lifestyle (now for all to see) and instead trying to justify it by mocking the life choices of people who are trying to do better.

Yes, they are some crazy vegans (like you have crazy in all groups) but the worst thing you could come up with was a girl that had her **** out for what she believes is a good cause and questioning that athletes might not be as strong on a vegan diet (which started this whole shitshow and is still totally unproven by the way).

Like most slippery slope arguments, this is straight up illogical. It's like seeing someone giving to charity and contending that if they want to give money, why aren't they being consistent and giving ALL their money.

A vegan outlook is typically about reducing harm where able. An animal's interest in avoiding pain and suffering is probably going to outweigh your taste interest in one meal. When it comes to something like an animal being used to create a vaccine that might save thousands of lives it's a different calculation.

As for powerful vegan athletes. Kendrick Farris, Olympic American weightlifter. Bryant Jennings, Heavyweight boxer. Nate Diaz, MMA...
There are also a heap of non-vegan athletes who eat vegan during season for the reduced recovery times and increased performance.
Your views seem to be 30 years antiquated.

I do feel for people who are vegetarian and vegan, because they have empathy and it bothers them that poor animals have to die and be eaten but damn, they are so tasty.

I mean, if animal meat tasted like shit, we wouldn't eat them.

When my vegan niece comes around, I will have vegan food with her, I don't mind vegan and vegetarian dishes and I have cut back the amount of meat I eat but still eat it around other carnivores or when alone.

I think we can be nicer to animals, we don't need to treat dairy cows as poorly as we do, we probably aren't too far away from being able to artificially clone females only and there is no reason the young can't stay with their mother, they produce plenty of milk, it will just make it cost a bit more.

If we basically had no use for cows or chickens any longer, it isn't going to be the great release into the wild that vegans think will happen, they will be slaughtered until there are none left, there is no place in nature for these man-made abominations.

I think there is a difference between being aware of damage and feeling pain via a central nervous system, however if you take this point through to its logical conclusion and decide that eating plants is bad, then you should avoid eating animals. To create 1kg of animal flesh, the animal needs to eat 18kg of plant matter.

You're right, and alternatives are rapidly getting better. It is no longer a great sacrifice to give up animal based foods like it used to be.

It's a good point, but probably difficult for humane treatment when money is involved. There are new startups using machine learning (artificial intelligence) to create plant based milks that taste pretty spot on. Notco has exploded here in Chile and taken over 10% of the mayo market. I don't really like their milk because it tastes too much like cows milk (never liked it when I was young haha)

I don't think anyone things these animals are going to be released into the wild because they aren't equipped to survive like that. They will stop being artificially bred. The big change that can happen if a significant of the population goes vegan is with land use. You can feed a vegan on 1/18th of the amount of land needed to feed an omnivore, so substantial amounts of land (maybe 50-75%) of grazing lands could be re-wilded, planted with native forests and wild animals would thrive in these areas.
This would basically solve climate change concerns too without everyone having to give up their lifestyles and travel.

Nate Diaz is only a part time vegan. He eats fish, eggs and sometimes chicken when training for fights. Jennings isn’t even in the conversation, maybe if he wasn’t vegan he would’ve won against Klitschko and Ortiz but I doubt it.


What about Tim Bradley? He went Vegan after being the 140 pound champ and WBO Welterweight champ but had to give veganism the arse because he started fading in later rounds of fights.
