Apparently the Commonwealth Bank ATM on Smith Street has been spitting out $50 notes instead of $20 notes yesterday.

I have seen a photo of an acquaintance waiting on line around 8pm last night.

He is joined by about 30 other people in the queue.

It was eventually shut down by Armaguard.

I reckon the police could find a charge for it pretty easily, though I'd be more scared of Noose knocking on my door.

Was watching the Japanese tragedy unfold on the box the other day - totally unfathomable in every regard - and then on the tickertape appears "Japanese earthquake - US sending aircraft carrier".

Can someone please explain to me what the reason for such would be? I just don't get it.

Searching for some levity, I thought maybe they are going to finish the job.

Yeah mate, was thinking along those lines myself - a staging point perhaps - but it just seemed a very 'slow' reaction (unless in the immediate vicinity) compared to flying aid in and getting people on the ground.

On a very serious note - RIP for all those perished - as I said, unfathomable.

This commoner thinks it's just you - very rarely as a consumer do I reduce products I buy to its initials and in fact unless its screaming at me (as it was in Packed to the Rafters last night ) I rarely give that much thought to even the name.

Well that's a good thing.

First up, I'm not the sort of person to take pictures on a train. Kind of pervy, really.

But last night there was this Korean bloke who was the spitting image of Kim il Jong. I mean, I kept looking around because I couldn't believe it. He sat there, straight-backed, with a thin semi-tolerant smile on his face.

Then this crazy dude gets on who was the spitting image of Martin Bryant of Port Arthur infamy. Truly weird.

So as I got off, I snapped a picture. Unfortunately, Kim moved the moment I took the picture distorting his face and making him look younger and thinner than he really was, but you get the idea.

The Frankston line is truly the line from hell, and last night it had some special guest passengers.
