Ive been to both Freos home games. Its fun crossing enemy terriroty to cheer on the opposition

Brett Peake is the most gutless player ive seen on a AFL football field. I thank god every day we dont have a player whose that disrespectful to the jumper

I was at the Freo game today as well and at one point I was thinking the same thing about Peake. I can't believe that at one point I thought he was a good player. His skills are appalling and he was not very accountable with his opponent, but then again he had a lot of mates today.
 
I thought Freo fans prided themselves on staying till the end.

Little bastard saves his one good game a year for us. Played pretty well against us last year too.

Looks like we might be locked in one of those battles of who can be crapper for the year. ;)

Just want to get some thoughts on skins if anyone has any knowledge about them.

I know you where them during the game but they're also for recovery, how long after the game should you wear them to get good recovery. 2hours or more like all day to stop post match soreness?

Bushie,

There is hope for Freo, when you have got kids like Mayne and Palmer.

People are having go at Palmer about been caught with the ball and basically reading his own press. But the kid try hard all day and basically 'is all heart'. And Mayne has some raw talent. I was impressed with both.

I don't know about the other clowns though. :cool:

As CK said we aren't in any position to be doing much kicking at present.

I did find it amusing though that just when you guys had a nice big opening to slam us eagles types, your team lets you down so badly that the opportunity goes begging.

Things aren't as dire as 2001 for either team, but in many ways this year could be more disappointing given the expectations we both had coming in - and with hard games in front of both of us 1-5 is a distinct possibility.

Bushie I am wondering if Freo supporters are scared at the moment. I mean you have the oldest list in the comp where as we have the second youngest. My point is it looks like based on that fact that we are going to rebuild faster than you lot and your going to be in pain for a long time?

I saw the weirdest thing at the Freo vs. Tigers match, two young boys (look like brothers) wearing Freo jumpers, hanging around their necks were Freo membership. But they were wearing Sydney Swan Caps which had on the back of them, 'Members 2006'. :eek: The Caps look to be signed as well.

Seriously, how much would you have to hate West Coast, to dress kids like that? :cool:
 
How proud I am of Waters right now. Just watched it again. Hunter gets two go's at Hall and misses twice. Geez Adam mate, either get your arse kicked or make an effort! :D:thumbsu: When Waters is pushing Hall, he comes in for a bump and totally misses.:o

On derby day I saw a family, two parents and two young boys, one in a Dockers guernsey who would've been about 7 or 8 and one in an Eagles guernsey who would've been about 4.
The kid in the Dockers guernsey randomly whacked the young bloke in the Eagles guernsey across the head and ran off with a smile on his face and the Eagles kid starting balling his eyes out.

Reminded me of last derby to be honest.
 
There was a lot of tigers scarfs and jumpers at the casino last night when I was there watching Manchester United win again. Had to watch it there because thanks to my indiscretions people are no longer allowed to watch sport in the common room at Lyall's place:o:(
