what j00 talkin bout Willis? Wasn't that his round 2 score?

Yeah, but that's his round 1 score as well.

Round 1 shouldn't have a score of 75, it causes a price movement after round 3.

Just wondering, if a ruck taps the ball more than once in a hitout situation does he get 2pts? 1 for each tap or just the 1point for winning the hitout?

ie: Sandi usually does this where the ball might not go as far with the first tap so he hits it out a second time..

Also what happens if a ruck takes it straight out from the ball up and just disposes of it? Just the 2/3 for the handball/kick or does he get the extra 1pt for winning it?

Cheers. Just curious.

ah- there- as opposed to being fine everywhere else in the site!

:D

I'll have another look at it, byes were always going to be a little buggy until I could do some real in-season testing on it.

How long will Sandilands lowish score from this round affect his pricing? The dockers have 2 more games until their bye and i am looking at grabbing him after that bye. The pricing is affected by the last 3 games right? So in theory he should be at the lowest point right when they have the bye?

Assuming his next two games are quiet(so he doesn't come out score 120+) then yes, you're correct.

I don't know if these questions have been asked yet but...

1. When is a tackle recorded as a tackle? Is it when a player just grabs an opposition player, or when the tacklee fails to dispose of the ball when being tackled?

2. what happens when a player gets gang tackled? Do all the tackling players get points for a tackle?

3. Do the umpires decisions override the DT scorekeeper? For instance, there was a time when Krakouer tackled an opposition player (holding the ball) but the umpire made a mistake and awarded the freekick to the wrong player. Who gets the points for the tackle and free kick?

4. For out of bounds on the full, does this count as a free kick against the kicker (-3)? Also, does this count as a free kick for the player receiving the kick (+1)?

If the tackle results in a turnover or stoppage it counts. If the player tackled manages to dispose the ball to a teammate the tackle doesn't count.

2. what happens when a player gets gang tackled? Do all the tackling players get points for a tackle?

Usually only the player that initiates the tackles gets the credit.

I believe Krakouer would get the tackle in this scenario but not the free kick for.

Nope, out on the full is not a free kick for/against.

At the start of each year they lure us into picking creative team names with an offer of $1000 (i think?) for the best team name.

Has anyone ever seen any results of this competition?

I looked last year and could not find any details of the winner.

anyone?

It may have already been asked, but what if you have a player in your 22 and they are a sub the entire game? therefore scoring zero, do you get that zero or do you get your emergency score?

I think you get the 0.

From the official rulebook.

"Zero" scoring players

Players who are actually named and in the starting 22 for any match AND score a 0 for any reason, will NOT be replaced by an emergency. Their 0 score will also have an effect on their value, being recorded as having played a game.

Assuming that the sub is part of the starting 22 (and really, that's not much an assumption), then they would score a zero.
