I did not say that I wanted to.

What I said was that

A) I wouldn't mind Gumby at the club.
B) That realistically it'd cost someone of the nature of Bower to get it done.

As always it comes down to an equation - is it worth the price?

3q time and another 3 goals, I've been away but have been reading plenty on him wanting to go back to melbourne? is this true?

Is just what we need, but it seems we never get what we need so I'm not holding much hope!

Yeah butcher's going to be a gun player, was good right from TAC cup stages and is miles ahead of what you expect that sort of player to be at. Takes a contested mark, is very tall and agile and has pace. Could end up being the best full forward in the game.

Your posts haven't left me with the impression that you watched Butcher play with Gippsland in 2009.

Sort of an upgrade on Houlihan.

Great disposal. Another rotation through the middle.

May also be another option up forward. Wouldn't cost much.

Not sure what his body is like but heard today that he was planning to play on next season but Voss gave him the tap on the shoulder.

Yeah nah. Rather Greg Bentley much younger player with plenty of upside.

Forget Luke Power.

I remember during the dark ages when we tried to lure him with a massive contract. He turned us down back then and signed on at Brisbane (Thanks to their additional player payments).

His time has come and gone.
