FML ^^ hah I was going to go, then I was like nah bugger it, need some sleep for the World Cup final. Did they all pick up lol ?
Haha, well I faintly remember talking to that goal shooter (I think) who came from Sydney this year, and I reckon I got close to getting her number.... Actually, yeah, I wasn't even close.:D Great night though.:thumbsu: I had also planned staying up for the WC final, but by 3:30am there was no way that was gonna happen.

Jo bagging a Liberal

Perhaps it's a case of protesting too much but I reiterate I am not a Liberal, nor a Liberal supporter.

I just have a passionate hate for the way the Labor Party is run and the results of how it is run.

Very much case the lesser of two evils for me.

But I'm very happy calling out a ****wit a ****wit.

Is it such a big deal though, if true? Who wouldnt try and help their son in a situation like that?

Seems to me this is more about dragging a bloke through the mud. He was actually a pretty good local mp.

Errr. Impersonating a cop in an attempt to intimdate authorities into favourable treatment of a criminal charge?

Yeah, I'd say it's a ****ing big deal. Especially considering Richardson's past involvement with SAPOL.

If shit like this was allowed to go down you'd only get more ill-informed moronoic grand-standing regarding things like McGee, Nemer etc.

each to their own I guess, I have followed the story for a little while, it just seems like it has been massively blown out of proportion and I am suprised at how much coverage it gets.

Sorry Blue Red and Gold but, in a rare moment on this forum :p, I agree with Jo here. Impersonating a police officer is a serious charge, even more so when you're (at the time) a sitting MP, and further more so, as Jo said, with his previous involvement with SAPOL.

If convicted, I wouldn't be surprised if the book's thrown at him.

Dont know how they can prove it though, surely it would be near impossible to do so too?

I guess I am in the minority here, I just dont see the big deal and havent since I first read about the case.

Based purely on the Ragvertiser article you could build up a strong circumstantial case in that the call was made where Richardson was, contained knowledge that few people, including Richardson had and Richardson had a motive to do it.

Now based on the golden rule that 95% of an Advertiser article is wrong, and the Advertiser leaves out 95% of the important information I think we can safely make no conclusion:thumbsu:

It's definitely a big deal if he's found guilty. Impersonating a Police Officer is a VERY serious charge.

According to the BOM, the temp dropped nearly 3 degrees in 5 minutes!

16.2 at 2:30pm
13.6 at 2:35pm

Wind at Kent Town is 32 km/h gusting at 41 km/h
At the Airport it's 52, gusting at 57

(and I think we're just warming up with the wind)

My gosh this weather is coming in FAST!

In the space of about 3 minutes it's gone from blue skys to very dark clouds and huge winds here!

Hell yeah. The day looked all fine until I noticed the gusts banging on my windows, a bit of rain followed to add to that.

Would love to see some more rainfall.

I really like storms, I don't know why, but it's quite calming when you're inside the comfort of the home.

[rant] (venting over exasperation at work ppl, not at ppl on this board)

Some people seriously need to harden up, and realise that people won't necessarily sugar coat things for you in the work place, and this does not constitute "bitchiness" or being a "bad person", more the fact that you're ****ing soft, and you need to take a teaspoon of concrete and harden the **** up!!

[/rant]

I feel better now...
