I mean, it wasn't Foo Fighters-esque (obviously)...... but for a small gig, I thought they were pretty much on song. Couldn't have asked for much more.

Bit too much off their new album,but that's to be expected. Still got to go out with A Certain Chade of Green which was fun.

Very tight and a good sound. Props to the opening band for being a tight bunch of 20 year olds.

Well check out this thread. It's on the cricket board about Hilfenhaus, prior to this summer.

Exposes more muppets for their lack of knowledge than any other thread in BigFooty history. Including at least one Adelaide board regular.

Of course we all make stupid calls from time to time and get embarrassed with the benefit of hindsight but it's nice when it happens to others.

I rekon alot of what said has turned out to be right on the money, im wondering as an adelaide supporter would i just be banned from the port board if i bumped it or would the action the mods will take as punishement for the truth be greater?

Going back to the conversation in regards to good Indian food, had dinner last night at the Bombay bicycle club, the food was awesome. I had a duck curry, the meat basically fell of my fork when I picked it up. Add to the fact they have a massive beer list to pick from and I left very impressed.

Bombay Bicycle Club is another place that falls into the category of "not at all authentic, but still delicious". I love their lamb shanks

Also on the topic of food, a Greek friend of mine had a birthday over the weekend, and their family had us all over for a lamb on a spit, with all the Greek spices. Best thing I've ever eaten hands down I think I'm still full two days later, hahaha.

Lamb on the spit with all the spices, especially when applied by a rosemary sprig, is AMAZING.

I'll go out of my way to eat this. Even attended the semaphore greek festival, which isn't up to much, just to eat a plate of lamb.

I'd rank lamb on the spit almost as highly as a Hāngi - particularly roast pork cooked in hot coals underground. AMAZING!
